Wyoming Orthopedics & Spine - Pain Management in Gillette, Wyoming
Patient Testimonials
“I can't say enough wonderful things about the team. First of all, thank you Roxy for all your knowledge in preparing me for my total knee replacement. You had me ready for the surgery and had no surprises along the way. A Hugh shout out to Jordyn for your support along my road to recovery. Of course, I can't forget Dr. Sorenson. He is an incredible Surgeon. I would highly recommend him to everyone. Without him and his team I would still be living a life in total pain.”

“I blame this on the scheduling of appts. My husband had an appt to see Dr. Israelson at 3:30. We were taken to a room, and told that Dr Israelson was "running behind". After waiting an hour, with no update, we opened the door and asked, "how much longer do we have to wait"? The answer we got was "Oh, maybe 20 more minutes"? After waiting an hour, and NOT seeing Dr. Israelson, we decided to reschedule, and hope we don't have to wait another hour!!”

“If you value your health, don't let Scott Sorenson operate on any part of you. He completely screwed up my knee and set standards for recovery that were missed by a mile. In November 2024 Sorenson performed an operation on my knee to help fix a hole in my ligament, this was not a full knee replacement by any means. During our consultation before the surgery, he mentioned my recovery should take about two weeks before the knee was as good as new. Absolutely no physical therapy would be needed, I could return to work in no time and probably wouldn't even need crutches. This was far from reality. Three weeks after surgery, I still could not put any weight on my leg. The knee was swollen 3x its normal size and that's when I decided to start PT. The ladies there astonished that he did not recommend me for PT and I needed to start immediately. It's been 10 months since that surgery and my knee is only about 70% better. It still always hurts and is always stiff. During my recovery time it hurt too bad to exercise so my quad atrophied about 40% of its original muscle. On top of this horrible experience dealing with Sorenson's assistant, Dylan, was also a terrible experience. There would be times while sitting in the back room waiting to be seen, that it would take over an hour for anyone to show up. Yet the thin doors allowed me to hear Dylan and his nurse talk about other employees in the office behind their back while I waited yo be seen. I would in no way go back to this place ever again. Learn from my mistake and stay away.”
