“The PA did not do any thorough provocative testing to assure the recommended treatment was appropriate for my issue then I had two injections for treatment that didn't work. I should have been a better advocate for myself - my mistake. I finally got a third injection that did work and I was scheduled for a follow up appointment on a Tuesday at 3:20. My babysitter called me the Sunday before my Tuesday appointment and needed to cancel for the week (I have five kids 7 and under that I didn't want to bombard a clinic with). I didn't call to cancel the follow-up appointment on Sunday since the office would be closed but I called at 8am Monday morning to cancel for Tuesday afternoon. I was told that I would incur a $50 late fee and after speaking with the manager she said I should have called and left a message on Sunday so that it was 48hrs in advance. I asked when she would have received the message and she said "this morning.".......So the information would have been received at the same time Monday morning regardless but you want me to pay you $50 to have one less non-productive patient on your schedule. Sure. Cooperate offices are the absolute worst. Take your $50 Kyra SWAK.”
