“I have been going to Virginia Interventional Pain and Spine Center for over 5 years now. I drive from Christiansburg to Roanoke because I love Arun Sun, her nurse and the office staff. The treatments have helped my migraines tremendously. Arun has always done a wonderful job, and the front office staff has always been so kind to me. Angel has been, just that, an Angel. I don't know how she deals with the insurance side of things day in and day out. She works hard to make sure my botox arrives prior to my scheduled appointments. If something goes wrong with insurance, she's on top of it and her and Arun will work together to work me in as soon as it arrives. They are the best and I highly recommend. I have been through a lot health wise and even drive 4 hours for one of my doctors. So when I find good people, who care and are good at their jobs, I'll drive far distances. These guys and girls are great!”

“No problems. Very efficient on patient flow. Was in first time, called back on time, got shot in back, out in 20min after being called.back. Dr. Raju and staff were great. Explained everything, I didn't even know they were done with iniection when they told.me to get up. And you can call direct for follow-up instead of going back to referring doctor for follow-up to just to have them send you back to pain clinic!! Greatly saves on time, pain, and money. This is NOT a pill mill. If you're just looking for pills this ain't the place!! The DO NOT prescribe opiates on a first visit. When I requested them on follow up visit with the PA to help me until next nerve root shot (different nerve), Ms.Rickman rx'd me with no problem. Same when I requested refill on meds after a week and a half, no hassles whatsoever. FYI they use the Virginia controlled drug tracking system!! And post the report to your record. So don't try doctor shopping. I've been a "pain clinic" patient before and it's nice to be in one that isn't trying to treat pain with antidepressants, anticonvulsants and other unapproved (by FDA, for pain) meds. Overall, great service, no hassles. Recommended. And Louis bird approves lol.”

“First off: Fine racket they've got going on her. Just keep having them come in for steroid shots even if they don't help. Anything else you suggest falls on deaf ears, after all, your not the Dr, your just the patient that feels the pain and knows exactly where it is and not where they say it is. With that being said, this was my third visit with Margaret Rickman Pa-C, and given the third try, the benefit of doubt. I've come to the conclusion I was completely right. Needs to go back to her cheerleader days, where she can have the standing ovations she was used too. She's dismissive. Likes to hear herself talk, does not like to be questioned on her recommendations, even though it's your body, your pain. Just going off reports, she miraculously knows what is right for you.... PERIOD! It's funny how I already knew what kind of person she was, without even knowing her. She's used to having patients that just nod their heads yes to her ever whim and praise her. Clocks out, gets her nails done, everyone tells her how perfect she is and collects her check. Ms. Popular, center stage college years, carried over in her professional life leaves a lot to be said about self growth, compassion and dedication to others and not herself first! But it's hard to do when you've been catered to your entire life. Never once listening to her patients. After all, it will interfere with the wonderful racket of collecting on constant spine injections nicely directed over to Dr Raju. Dr. Raju and the nurses are very polite. But this little homecoming queen leaves a lot to be said of her bed side manner and self absorbed attitude. Wouldn't recommend this place for my dog's pain management.”

She is also a sweetie that listens and truly cares!! Don't hesitate to make an appointment with them!!
