Patient Testimonials

Dr. Fawaz and his assistant were beyond exceptional. Also, the team that met us at 4 AM was wide awake and extremely coordinated. Everything from surgery to recovery was smooth and professional. I highly recommend Dr. FAWAZ

I have to give 1 star because you can't give negative 5 stars. Dr. Fawa and his team, words cannot express the frustration I have for him and his PA. I was meant to have surgery back in Early April everything was fine, until then so I thought. I had jumped through all the hoops, did medication, PT, Shot nothing helped. Spoke with Dr. Fawa and was told Surgery was my only option. Week of my surgery I got a call week of my surgery stating I have a nickel allergy in my chart surgery canceled, until I get the allergy test done. I got the allergy test done result were negative now I am getting the run around by him and his PA. Trying to tell me I have to do PT. And before someone said maybe it because insurance will not pay, this is not the case as I have all the insurance approvals. All I am saying is he should have honored what we discussed and not given me the run around

I had the pleasure of working with Dr.Fawaz and Dave, PA. My ACD+F surgery went well. The journey from my first appointment to my post surgical appointment have been an excellent experience. Very personable, friendly, caring and quick to respond to any and all questions. The whole staff that I have encountered at Virginia Brain and Spine have been very pleasant and easy to work with. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr.Fawaz to my friends and family should they need his surgical expertise.

I would give this place a five star rating because of Dr. Selznick. He is a superior doctor. However his staff is very in adequate in terms of follow up care. I had very extensive back surgery July 22, 2020. I was supposed to receive information for follow up after three months. That's never happened. I called and left a message and they never got back to me. I called again. Same result. They do seem to have a good time in the office talking together. It's now been almost 5 months. I have not had any aftercare instructions and I have not started any physical therapy. If these women worked for me I would get different women. They do not seem to care much at all about their patients
