“I am baffled by how many good reviews this doctor has; in contrast with the many bad reviews, it seems this doc has some sort of bias against a mystery demographic of his patient population. I've worked in healthcare for 12 years and spent more years navigating the system as a patient, and while I've had some bad experiences I have NEVER had one like I had today. He wouldn't accept any responses besides yes or no. He refused to hear any explanations. I was interrupted, talked over, and treated like an idiot. When I asked questions to try to understand what he was saying he made no attempt to clarify and insulted me for not getting it. He demanded I answer "yes" when he insisted it is "100% my fault I came to my appointment unprepared and uninformed". I felt so defeated and confused and ultimately broke down crying, at which point he told me I was "acting like a teenager". He also accused me of yelling when I most certainly did not raise my voice. I ended up terminating the appointment and walking out. Because it was clear I was going to be taken seriously not given fair treatment. I'm still in shock. Also of note- I was told to come 30 min early and then waited an hour to be seen.”

“Dr. Johnson is the most condescending person I've ever met. Instead of treatment, I felt like I was being interviewed to be treated. When he would ask a question and when I would try to answer, he would accuse me of talking over him. At one point in my "interview" I actually felt that I had to raise my hand to respond or ask a question. And when I would ask questions, he seemed to get agitated. I had asked the same question at one point and he just said that it was over and he wouldn't take me on as a patient. As I sat there in shock, he stood over telling me how angry and seething mad I was. It was like he was trying to get a reaction out of me. Total narcissistic behavior. He then threatened to call security on me and that it would be on my permanent chart. Please people, I seriously suggest you read his reviews before making an appointment here. There is a reason he has a terrible reputation as far as reviews go. And for the people that read this review, I hope you seriously consider looking into this guy for poor treatment of patients over his 35 year history. The girls in the front office are amazing. All smiles and very apologetic for the over an hour wait.”

“Best bed side manner, always tries to squeeze me in, if I have a reaction which I did twice he had me come right in. He has moved and cha get surgical centers he ALWAYS has mailed me notifications, he has had to cancel all appointments once and office called all established patients. People I've seen first hand get mad he doesn't write rx for pain medication he is more about treating and fixing pain than masking it. Highly recommend him of your not a pill seeker”

“Highly recommend, Dr Johnson has been my pain mgmt doctor for years now, he also took care of my mom. He cares , I always feel comfortable asking him questions, he says we know our own bodies best, I can explain my pain. He has been doing injections and ablations cervical and lumbar, he also teamed up with Medtronic at that time and did a nuerostimulator/ leads placement in my lower lumbar to help manage pain. Dr Johnson's staff is amazing they make you feel at home, love Leslie she does everything. He also has the best anesthesiologist by far, his name is Mike. Highly recommended.”
