What Patients Say
Patient Testimonials
“The turnover in PA's and nurse practitioner is unbelievable. The only one that stays is Lori Quick. Neither my husband or I cared for her. No compassion ,doesn't listen. After seeing her I would call my PCP....she threatened my husband if he didn't go see a doctor she recommended for stem cell procedure. We are on.medicare. Not covered. We never once saw the doctor. The office is dirty. Last visit I hit my husband you could see the dog hair and dust balls rolling around. Yes he has his two dogs in there. Beware”

“I went in as a new patient. The PA is really rude. She doesn't look at a chart from other doctors and will just say get this done and then come back. Im sorry I'm in to much pain to be going back and forth. I've had injections done and they don't work. I've had a spinal cord stimulator put in and it only helped a little and then got hit by a semi and it malfunction so I had to have it removed. The doctor seems really nice but that PA is very rude and doesn't care that your in pain. My old pain management doctor had me on pain meds and I wanted to keep on them cuz that's the only thing so far that worked. This lady refused and wanted me not to just get injections but put me on something that I've been on in the past that don't work. If this doctor wants to keep his practice open and have patients he needs to get rid of her cuz she is nasty and has no care in the world.”

“I hope someone gets something out of my review, as I had been a patient at this facility for three years. Three years with never an issue, except for the times I'd have to see one practioner in particular... but we'll get to her. The doctor himself- I'd give four stars. Great personality and bedside manner. For the most part, never had a problem... except for that one time I was in *bonus* pain for three months due to nerve damage that was done during a procedure, to which was acknowledged. Also, you will see the doctor for your initial appointment and procedures. Other than that there's no possible way to see or talk to him. The reception staff- Not bad. BUT when they feel they *need* to deceive, they will. The practitioners- The doc usually keeps two in the office, one is consistent, the others not so much and it's apparent why. I got a long with every practitioner I saw. All offered different options and suggestions. Except Lori Quick. She is a very unkind and insensitive, and a down right mean person. She seems to have had some odd issue with me from day one. Some kind of prejudice. The last practitioner that came and went eluded to bullying in the office by people whose "goal wasn't to help people", according to her. She also stated that she "did not fit in". There were things that all of the practitioners did for me to help in some real ways, whereas, Lori just tells you there's nothing that can be done. Nothing? And she never followed up in to what was in my notes from previous appointments. She never did any tests, I'd have to get my PCP to order tests that Lori wanted me to get... INCONVENIENT! And then she'd never follow up on the results. At my last appointment with her I tried desperately to advocate for myself as I'm in serious pain. She did not care for that and basically refused to help me anymore. So I left the practice. OH and if you leave, they won't quite leave you alone after that.... My goal- I want, even if it's just one person, to take my review to heart and try somewhere else. Pain is difficult. On top of having pain, I am very stressed and suffering severe mental anguish from this. **Go where's trusted (LVHN has pain management!) and has the better reviews!”

“I like to wait until I've had several visits with any Doctor, restaurants, hotels etc before I write my reviews. With that said, before going here, like most people I read their reviews and read a lot of negative reviews about everyone from the staff, nurses and Dr. M. And me personally, I don't get it, since the day/minute I walked through their doors I've been met with kindness, Professionalism and respect. I realize that everyone's situation is different. Now I have a TON of issues that cause me insurmountable pain from 13 surgeries, most of which have been spinal surgeries including 2 to 3 failed fusions. My average pain levels are between 8-12 ( I know 10 is max, just making my point ) Updated 6/2/25, The 1st Nurse I had here was Cassandra who was incredibly helpful and thought at the time she wasirreplaceable BUT since Lori took over she HAS BEEN EVEN BETTER* ( See below ) she has helped me SO MUCH whether it's a non-rushed conversation or a much needed trigger point injections with no notice to her and no matter how busy she is she does her absolute BEST to take great care of me and my many painful problems. She has guided me in more ways than I can explain.I honestly don't know where I'd be without her and her help, conversations or suggestions. EVERYONE from the ladies at the front desk, scheduling, surgery center check in to the nurses in the back, especially Corrie who took time out of her very busy day to talk to me in depth about one of my issues that are new which she was very Knowledgeable about, I am more grateful to her than she knows ( until now ) As far as the NP's, the 1st one I met was incredibly helpful, took the time to talk to me at length, went over my MRI's with me and discussed my concerns and options. Although she is no longer there my new one is just as nice, Knowledgeable who took the time to collaborate with me. I loved that neither of them have been in a rush. Keep in mind that, like I said, I have a TON of very, VERY painful problems which unfortunately have ruined my life and will interfere with my everyday activities ( I can barely take out the garbage and if I do I pretty much suffer for days ) In the grand old saying goes, I'm saving the best for last. In reference to Dr. M is concerned in my experience with him has been nothing but positive every time I've seen and talked to him. In the past every time I've needed injections the doctors I've seen preferred to put their patients under anesthesia so I was obviously a little bit apprehensive getting them without it, From the VERY MOMENT walk into the surgical room he makes me feel comfortable and has been personable, not in a rush and explained everything he was doing as he was doing it, he has a different approach to the infections than the others which, in my opinion works BETTER than all of the others. Now I've read too many negative reviews about his personality but every time we speak it's been nothing but positive both professionally and personally, All I can say is that I'm glad I decided to go with them/him than the other places which are closer to home, the extra long drive is definitely worth it. People need to understand that in order to get respect you have to give respect. I would definitely recommend them/him to anyone who needs help as I know just as much as anyone what it's like to live in CONSTANT, horrible pain that leaves me in a fetal position a lot of the time, especially after any kind of activities. This is an HONEST opinion because trust me, if I was unsatisfied with them/him or had any complaints I would let everyone know, I just don't have any.”
