What Patients Say
Patient Testimonials
“I had a Nurse named George. Absolutely awful. I have Parkinson's. He treated me as if I were not a person. Called to make appointment to come in to see a doctor. I had a spinal stimulator put in. My doctor left. I wasn't seen after my operation by any doctor.only George Miers, the Nurse. He yelled at me on the phone. I was on speaker. Everyone in car heard him. He told me I couldn't come back to that office, my doctor want there any more. Because of Nurse George, I am never going back. I may be handic but I'm still a person George! I wouldn't give you a 1 out of 5 stars. You ruined that office for me!!! Also, he was flirting with the women who worked in the office!!!”

“HORRIBLE OFFICE! They charged me an office visit when I did not receive any visit/procedure. I called to speak to the office manager and billing department and nobody helped look into it. On my patient portal it shows notes that were falsified and notes from my first visit pasted again, with information that never occurred. On another visit I signed a form to put my procedure through with insurance because they said it wont be covered. They sent me a bill of the cash price. I reached out to insurance and they explained nothing was ever filed with them and insurance reached out and it was completely covered. They then started billing more things on this procedure to gain extra costs. I would ABSOLUTELY STAY AWAY from them, only cause more pain and frustration. UPDATE! After months of speaking to them, they said they will look into it. Well they just instead ignore it and don't get back to you.”

“THIS IS A LONG READ BUT SOMETHING YOU SHOULD KNOW!! Initially I thought I had found the best Dr ever when I saw Dr Vanterpool, but as it turned out it was the worst experience of my life going to the pain clinic there! She was able to diagnose my CRPS right away and started a treatment plan but it didn't work and there was no kind of backup plan in between my appointments which would be weeks apart and I was in a lot of pain. Anytime I would call, I I seldom got an answer but the voicemail says your call will be returned the same day if it's before 3 pm, but I never received a call at all most of the time! If I did, it was from the receptionist at the front desk. She would put me through to someone in the back and I would get their voicemail and they would not return my call! When I had appointments I rarely saw Dr Vanterpool but rather someone who I thought was a PA of hers, but was told he was only a Nurse Practitioner. Dr. Vanterpool has taken on too many patients to see them all very often and she takes off a LOT of days from work! She micro manages the office and doesn't allow anyone who works under her to do ANYTHING! She is the only person that can order a prescription or make a decision for a patient about anything....even her pharmacist cannot call in a refill for you! This is no way to successfully run an office of any kind. It is doomed to fail! They had 3 people to quit in a short time and the ones left were throwing their hands up trying to keep things going. I wonder why THEY all left??? She put me on a pain patch that was addictive. It never helped my pain and I kept calling the office telling them it was only giving me terrible side effects such as dizziness, nausea, vomiting, sweats and Insomnia. FINALLY after a few weeks something was called in to help those symptoms! My last visit to see her was to help me taper off the patch. I go in and there is her Nurse Practitioner...not her of course Then he decides, he'd better ask the boss, so he gets Dr. Vanterpool and when she comes in, rather than telling me how to start getting off this pain patch, she tells me that I don't seem to be getting helped by her and she dismissed me from her care! She didn't give me anything to help me get off the addictive pain patch and I had to do it alone! What kind of Dr does this? Not a very good one. So all you people be very careful of what you let her do! I had withdrawal symptoms having to come off that pain patch and it was a miserable experience! She could have prevented that and that's what she was supposed to have done since she put me on it. That was a cruel thing to do!”
