“I have a bone disease and it is extremely painful. Multiple joints are effected while most people normally only have one joint effected. I've had multiple surgeries and will have multiple surgeries in the future. I've had multiple injections for the pain and none work however they do increase my pain for the first week or so after the injection so it's pointless. I've been in and out of PT and it is almost unbearable. The only thing that even begins to knock off the edge is pain medication however it's extremely hard to get long term. I absolutely under no circumstances wanted opiates and expressed that so when I first started we tried everything possible but I was having bad reactions to them. I am allergic to a lot of medications so I knew it was gonna be a struggle to find something. After trying many I did end up agreeing to an opiate and I can say it has been a huge help.
