What Patients Say
Patient Testimonials
“I was referred to Dr Soares and as he was adding pressure to my neck to see if it caused pain, I tried explaining a tense cramping feeling it would cause. He was not satisfied with that response and asked if it was pain, i reiterated that it felt tense and uncomfortable. He responded arrogantly telling me not to change my words because those feelings are not pain and should only be a yes or no answer. A true doctor should take in consideration what one feels regardless if its related to "real pain" or not.”

“This "doctor" misdiagnosed my pain that I had in my lower back. Turns out I have to have lumbar surgery. He acted like nothing was wrong with me. Also my sister has been a patient. She has severe RA & completely disabled. He refused her meds without a careforher as a person. She is waiting for a shoulder replacement & Achilles tendon surgery. Thanks Dr Saorez....for nothing!”

“I've been to my fair share of Pain Management Dr's. I had been seeing Dr. Raikar, who had me pumped up on narcotic pain medicine, and treated me like an experimental pain cushion. Although some injections helped, he never kept up with those injections. He always came up with a reason to do other injections/procedures, that offered no help at all. Then, he kept pressuring me to allow him to put in another type of internal stimulator, than the 1 i have. Overall, it had me worried, for my long term health. So my Dr. suggested Dr. Soares. And so far, I've gotten my pain medicine cut in half. While it is affecting me to a degree, he is at least working with my surgeon to come up with the best way to move forward. And for that, I am truly appreciative.”

“Soares has a very poor attitude when it comes to listening to his patients! I have been on Oxycodone for over 4 years and every time I had to go see him for about 5 minutes, he was always trying to trick me into saying that it's not working and was going to take me off of oxycodone. I've tried about everything else but oxycodone was the only thing that worked. He put me on a pain patch that I told him that I've tried before and it didn't work but it was either that or nothing.I happened to have a rotator cuff surgery and my surgeon gave me oxycodone along with a couple of other medications when I had a script from Soares and that really set Soares off. He immediately got mad telling me I was non compliant and he was taking it away. He also used the excuse that I couldn't be trusted to take my meds right. I had told him that if I didn't need it for a day or so, I wouldn't take it. He said that I wasn't taking it according to his instructions, and that's all it to to have it taken away. There are several other issues that come into play that I'm not going to get into now, so I'm just going to stop here. Final answer is he has a terrible attitude and I wouldn't recommend seeing him! He started out as a decent guy but got a lot worse! I understand that the regulations for opioids have changed and it may not be all his fault but I think there are a lot better ways to work with the patient.”
