Patient Testimonials
“If you are in need of a wonderful caring medical staff, then you have come to the right place. Being a long time patient of Dr. Nolan and Dr. Tatcher at Trident Pain Center, I can tell you they are the best. GOD blessed me on the day I found their medical practice. My pain was through the roof ending up in the ER regularly. With the help of these doctors and their staff, I am now doing much better. They are truly a blessing to me and I do thank GOD for them daily. If you are serious about addressing your pain and are willing to work hard with them to get you to a comfortable level, then you are coming to the right doctors. You must be willing to do your part too though as it is not a one way situation. Good luck in getting relief as I sure did.”

“Hannah called and let me know after I was referred to this location last year by my primary care doctor that I wasn't a candidate for pain management. Apparently the doctors all reviewed my case (which there wasn't much in the referral) and determined that my pain wasn't worth looking into.... I guess I don't even deserve a consultation, someone to talk to in person, or alternative treatments besides medication to help alleviate some of the pain. So after someone goes to the ER, goes to their primary, sees a surgeon, has surgery, and is referred to pain management, they aren't eligible to be seen?.... So what would you like the patient to do? Very odd, and I'm writing this a year later because I was referred here again for a completely different issue but figured it wasn't worth even trying to get in to be seen for a consultation. I've only been in pain management once in my life, and I'm guessing my not so great experience with one of their colleagues from another facility is damaging any chance of being treated at all in a fair way. Disappointed to say the least. I truly believe that pain management is suicide prevention. Not everyone wants to be on meds, and pain patients deserve respect as human beings, so thanks again for denying me a simple consultation for a referral that was sent over three times. Happy thanksgiving !”

“Scheduling contacted me after receiving a referral for a specific neurologist that my doctor wanted me to see. The scheduler scheduled me with a PA for another doctor and didn't tell me that they were making the appointment with someone else. The PA I saw was good and asked many questions and made several trips out to discuss answers and next steps with a doctor. At the conclusion, she gave me a slip indicating when I needed to return and that the appointment needed to be with a specific doctor and she instructed me to give it to the receptionist on my way out. Again, the person scheduling the appointment made it with the PA without my knowing. It was only when I was entering it on my calendar and I asked her to give me the doctor's name on the slip that she said, "Oh, I didn't notice that" and then she rescheduled with the correct person (the doctor). I've needed multiple MRIs & CAT scans the past few months. The clinic the PA specifically wanted me to go to was not one like other clinics I'd visited which all were nicer inside and sent me links to electronic systems where I could access my test results (which was very helful as the PA wanted to see a couple of them). The referred clinic did not offer a staff/patient communications & test results system.”

“Awful!! Treated as if I was some type of drug dealer by the kids that take blood pressure and slam a pee cup at you! Demanding you go to the filthiest bathrooms, no paper towels, totally gross!!! It is all I could do to hold my breath and get out!! No wonder I set the cup in my handbag in a hurry to get out of the disgusting bathroom. The girl said to me "we need To make sure you are taking your Norco right". She obviously is not educated enough to realize that the blood test they gave me could prove that I am not using prescriptions irresponsibly. Nor have I ever!!! She did not care that she was asking me to make yet another trip to the office. I can only speak for myself, if I could have operation so I did not need prescriptions I would, it is unfortunate while in pain, chronic pain, we are at the mercy of these "pain clinics".So unfortunately I have Lupus, ITP, arthritis Strogen as well several dental issues caused by immune issues. This young girl could care less!!! Probably was hoping to get a false read on urine test so she could have an issue to get excited about!!!! I have been over charred by $120 sometimes more each month since Feb. 2023. I have always been respectful to the staff, I pay each visit, I do not keep Nurse practitioner, or Dr's any longer than a pleasant chit chat. I would think that the higher educated employees would appreciate a staff be professional and empathetic. It has been my experience a handful of the young kids employed by pain management are robotically going through the motions for a pay check. I would encourage these kids to find another sorce of employment, maybe a grocery store.”
