“I am eternally grateful for Dr. Shapiro. He is kind, extremely thorough and determined to find the right treatment for me to be pain free for the first time in years. He found a malignant melanoma on my back that my PCP never saw because of her lack of caring and unwillingness to do an even a cursory examination. It was on my shoulder blade so it wasn't in an obscure spot but it was in a place that I would never have seen myself. He went to the parking lot himself to find my sister and have her come in to explain how serious this was and the need to have it taken care of immediately. The dermatologist described it as SCARY looking. Fortunately it had not spread but will require checks twice a year for the rest of my life. He literally saved my life! He is direct and to the point which I very much appreciate. I highly recommend him!! Alex who works runs the front desk is kind and extremely efficient and seems to care very much for the patients.
