“PATIENTS LOOKING FOR A GOOD PAIN MANAGEMENT DOCTOR NEED TO READ THIS. Please let me tell you first-hand as a Doctor of Pharmacy that I "know" the concerns you may have, and the issues you will face as a new pain management patient. I wouldn't have been able to even provide this review if I hadn't, myself, experienced an event which required me to seek out the services of a pain management doctor. I ruptured a good deal of a lumber disc and it completely immobilized my nerve. I was bed-ridden for over a month in excruciating pain. And, after NOT being taken seriously by my primary care doctor's nurse practitioner regarding the level of my pain (10 out of 10), and not getting any relief from them. And, after not being able to get a pain management appointment, or a neurological surgery evaluation appointment for two months into the future...I seriously contemplated taking myself out, because I HONESTLY could not deal with that level pain. I knew it was going to be a huge challenge because I see pain management patients every day at the pharmacy...and I indirectly know all the local pain management doctors. So...yes...I, myself, had even formed some "wrong" assumptions about pain management patients and most pain management doctors. And, therefore, I thought they would have the same assumptions about "me" as a new pain management patient, i.e. are they going to believe me when I tell them I am actually in as much pain as I truly am, etc. And, are they really going to try to help me or just keep me on medications to have another recurring patient. (Trust me, as a pharmacist I have known many doctors like that in the past.) And, I had even worried about getting through to the doctor if I need to call (because again, I have seen many patients standing in the pharmacy who can't get someone to even answer the phone AT ALL). Dr Replogle and his staff were EVERYTHING I was not expecting! They were genuinely carring and empathetic from the moment I stepped up to the desk...to the time I spent with the assistants...to every moment Dr Replogle spent with me. During my initial visit, he was even willing to work me in that moment to perform a spinal injection to try to help me. And, he was able to work with the neurologist to get me an evaluation the next day because of my individual diagnosis. At every step during the spinal injection too...Dr Replogle was extremely patient and empathetic. He even called the next day to see how I was doing. And, as far as just "being a pain pill pusher," the combination of medications he sent to the pharmacy were a careful combination which gave me the best chance of not developing further damage until I could get into surgery. This service doesn't stop after the first visit either. The couple times I needed to call the office I got through to who I needed to immediately. All the staff were all VERY kind and compassionate people. And, wait times in the it waiting room absolutely rival your normal primary care doctor. The whole experience was absolutely fantastic! So, if you are truly looking for top level "care" and top level "concern" for your well being...there is NOBODY WHO CAN BEAT DR TIMOTHY REPLOGLE!”
