Patient Testimonials
“Dr Theresa Elliot has this demeanor about her that she just doesn't seem to care for her patients. The first time I saw her, after having ALL my records from another doctors office showing what procedures I had done what was wrong with my back and what medications I took, she then decided to continue the same procedures I told her didn't work for me in the same area of my back. She did not continue my medications. She did absolutely nothing to address the pain I was in whatsoever!!! I then saw her for my procedure I was not sedated properly, it was very painful!! The injections I received gave me pain relief for about a week and a half if that!! I see her again today and I'm sure my pain will not be addressed only if the procedure worked or not. I'm sure nothing will be given for my chronic debilitating pain. I have children I need to care for and cannot due to these issues. I do not recommend going to see her at this very time. If things change I will update my review, but as of right now I am not a happy patient and I am not receiving the care I deserve or need.”

“she did a reflex test, wrote notes about what i told her, she did not evaluate areas of pain or investivagate why? no pain type physical tests to check me out physically or to evaluate my pain, I told her I donnot want injections, too expensive, and they donnot last more than 3-4 months at most, she immediately shot me down as a patient said she could not help me, "get your meds from your primary doctor", ahe stated, I addressed my 3 rounds of physical therapy last year, land 2x and water therapy and also RA ablation in 2019 as well, it was a 12 minute appointment in all, drove from Albuquerque to her office on hospital drive in santa fe, and at that point she had a nurse ask me to leave, all because she asked "what else she could help me with?" sound familiar with the other review...(same protocol) and then she just walked out into the hallway? I said to her as she walked out on me, "well I had came seeking help for my pain?" it was so disappointing, she listed me as having bilateral sciatica, and left me the way she found me, in pain and in tears, being kicked out by a nurse to further humiliate me, I had sat down because, I was upset and couldnt beleive this, I had waited 3 weeks for a referral for this, in pain, because they insist on a referral from primary care doctor, also their office fought my primary care Dr. told me and their office "no m.r.i. no appointments" I had to have my primary care doctors nurse/ secretaries give them a call and tell them to please look at my file, an m.r.i was done in 2019 with markus gerard who left their clinic an orthopedic doctor, whom had also addresed a dislocated kneecap, I still have and did he did nothing then, said to me, then, "one injury feds another" now I'm almost crippled, so many things feding on one another now, Thanks, for nothing...btw, they still did nothing...They wouldn't even look into my file to read that m.r.i. report from 2019 that they had ordered, when she finnally did, she told me nothing was wrong, "It just comes with age," and then she says, "so what is your age?" I figured she would look at my patient record, obviously not, so I said (43).. So the m.r.i. report mentions a L 3-4 paracentral protrusion and annual tears at a few locations L 2-3 & L 3-4 my doctor also listed polyarthralgia and si joint dysfunction. and her clinic says it addresses rheumatology pain so I was sent there. I had my positive antibody tests in hand paperwork (A.N.A.) at moderate levels, she did not review them. she herself then added "bi laterial sciatica?" to my medical notes, also I mentioned an autoimmune diagnosis last year!! I mentioned I had severe joint pain over the last year, it effects me badly everyday, she stated to me "you and everbody else" I said "excuse me?" and she repeated it again with "everyone is waiting for an appointment with rheumatology" "you and everyone else!" so why this behavior, and no treatment, since we all must wait extended periods of time in pain, I guess this office is just an injection mill.”

“Does not listen to patient. Does not care about patient getting better. Does not look over medical history thoroughly. Quick to label pain as arthritis. I do not recommend if you are serious about healing.”
