Patient Testimonials

Don't let the name of the practice fool you into thinking they are experts in the field of spine pain. i can save you some time and pain, they are not. After i had a major 3 vertebrae fusion and laminectomy, i was receiving "pain management" there under the "care" of Nurse Loise Dapoz and by extension, Dr. Mehta. Each month over the course of a year i would go to see her for management. as she barely looked up from her keyboard whilst writing refills for 4 hydrocodone per day i would tell her my pain isnt getting any better, to no avail, no help other than refills. i wanted real pain relief, and the pills weren't working. when I proceeded to tell her some statistics of people suffering from opiate addiction this Nurse had the audacity to respond with "too high above my pay grade" ! Well let me tell you that it is my opinion that the English alphabet is also above her pay grade. she should have started with the letters CT scan, MRI, and Xray. where she could have made the discovery of lucent bone, and a loose screw. I am no longer a patient of this farce of a medical practice, have since found a real pain specialist who in less than two months has reduced my opiate use by half, added medication that is so helpful that my pain level has been reduced from a 7-8 to a 2-3. i have a life and can function in society again. 2 months! I regret entrusting them with my medical care, I urge you not to make the same mistake. hope you find real help.

Very slow procedure treating my husband for back pain. They set up appts for wrong procedures then made him wait ano 4 weeks for the correct procedures. This went on the entire summer while the pain got much worse. I faxed a letter to the doctor wanting answers to questions. No reply and yes I'm his Healthcare POA. I could see he was loosing weight and something was very wrong. Took him to the emergency room since no help from the doctor and yes it's cancer!!! I would never recommend. They should not have missed this but did.

Not happy at all with them. Didn't explain procedure well enough. I felt rushed during my procedures and got no relief from these back injections. Didn't make an attempt to set me up another appointment and discuss where we go from here. Doesn't seem like they care. I have to go over a new bill because the cost of what I owe keeps going up and I haven't been to see him for a couple months. If they'd care they would call and talk to me about what to do next and the costs. 2 so call sple produres cost me $500. Very hard to pay when you're retired person. I tried to set up financial aid and they never got back to me.

Going to this place has definitely been a process... BUT they haven't given up on me and are willing to do different treatments when one doesn't work. From personal experience I know it's extremely frustrating to have keep going through trial-and-error. It feels like you'll never be better. But since I've been going here I'm better then what I was and they're still working to get me to %100. Be honest with them and yourself and over time things will get better! Unfortunately they're isn't overnight fix for those of us with chronic pain. Just keep going and never give up!
