Patient Testimonials
“I can't rate everyone there but I can say the hand full of people I came across that worked there were rude and disrespectful including the lead physician. They treat everyone the same as if every person is a drug addict. It's unbelievable that they can look at themselves in the mirror in the morning and feel good about themselves. I do understand that there are people out there that have a drug addiction and use the pain management system to get more drugs but there are a lot of people who are in a lot of pain on a daily basis that need their pain managed. I've been going here for almost 8 months and I had just been in a car accident, fresh out of surgery for my second right shoulder reconstruction. I also had many surgeries in just the past 4 years that changed my life. I was in the best Physical shape of my life up until then, so I had been trying to cope with the struggles mentally of unable to do a lot of physical activities like I was used to doing. The chronic pain really has an impact on a persons mentality. I had broken my neck, had Cervical titanium cage at 3 levels. I had a major discectomy of my lumbar spine & was in the hospital for 9 days first but it didn't help me. So, I had to have a 360 degree titanium fusion with all levels of my lumbar spine, removed 2 discs and replaced with prosthetic disc's approximately 19 screws, post and cadaver bone. I also had a full left knee replacement, right shoulder surgery then in December 2023 I was in a auto accident while I was on my way to the doctors with my arm in the sling. The impact destroyed my right shoulder in the sling, left shoulder as well. The force of the airbag threw my right fist into my mouth knocking out teeth and the seatbelt caused internal bleeding and fractured 6 screws in my lumbar. Amanda was supposed to be my pain manager and instead of coming up with different solutions to help eliminate at least some of my pain she acted as if I was taking up too much of her time and simply wanted to come up with a way to lower my meds, not lower my pain or even know what the cause of my pain was. She would always say that they have to stay at the set threshold of medications. She never looked at any of my MRI, X-rays, CT scans or medical history whatsoever. When I asked her if she had gone over any of it she got extremely defensive and lost her temper with me. I was very calm but bothered by this and told her that it wasn't ok the way she was treating me, as if I was an addict. I have extreme nerve damage, arthritis throughout my whole body, hands burning, left leg getting atrophy and loss of function. I couldn't sleep at night due to the level of pain and had been taken to the hospital at 2:00 am. The ER doctor had looked over my medical history and asked me who the pain management doctor was and that this was unacceptable and would constitute Malpractice and patient abandonment. She never answered me, simply said "I'm done!" And left me sitting in the exam room. I called and asked for a self discharge letter on 11-8-24 and was told they would fax it to the new pain management doctor and put it in the mail to me that day. I have Not received it yet and they never faxed it to the new pain management doctor. I'm not one to cause drama or want to take anything to the level but the way they have treated me and reading o lot of these other reviews is disgusting and should not happen to anyone already trying to deal with the life changing issues that new pains cause and then have to deal with PA or Doctors who don't care or put you in the same basket assuming everyone is an addict! Do NOT go to this place if you truly need pain management care.”

“My Insurance had this place on list so My doctor Referral me here for severe chronic pain along with pain from cancer. And instead of being treated like a human the staff was 2faced i waited months to get in be seem the dr said quickly without letting me answer his questions that just no we don't do pain medication for people like you a speach about drug laws what pain meds are and then how he recommends cold turkey a cold shower and that I go home and deal with it? It being overall pain from chronic spinal pain & this new cancer pain and quickly to be rude with me and so my blood pressure is 196/114 and feel like this guy just is enjoying himself with the smile he has on I feel horrible already so I politely said no thank you this isn't place for me dr replies fast good glade you understand. I got upset but didn't show it but my mouth slipped thank you for time & thanks for wasting my time.. Dr turned around and tried to punch me in face I'm in a wheelchair so I pulled my head head back and thinking I shouldn't have should have let the punch connect because today I'm In severe pain I don't don't feel well from what happened yesterday stress & pain is overwhelmingly and the pain meds I have right now I havto stretch them beyond what quantity & dosage so I'm in pain anxiety overwhelmingly I'll and I can't do anything. I'm not able to get better im not responding to treatment because I'm in overwhelmingly pain & stress and this dr shouldn't be working such apathetic uncaring and I'm scared I'm overwhelmed and all Dr's tennessee are apathetic to care.”

“I was a patient up until last week. I had been seeing them because of a neck fusion I had. I then had a rotator cuff surgery. My Dr did not increase my meds after my surgery. So I had over taken them. I told my surgeon and he wanted a letter from the pain group saying I was fired for over taking my meds. Well, I had misunderstood him and I just signed myself out with the ASSURANCE that I could come back a anytime That is where it all fell apart!! I was out of medication and had been to physical therapy so I was really hurting. I went to the clinic to see if I could let them know I had over taken my meds so I could get the exact letter my surgeon wanted. I initially did not want to get "fired" from the clinic. So, I never told them that. I went up to the front desk where the site lady sits and takes your name and checks you in and I nicely told her I needed to speak with someone about an issue I had. Gave her my name and birthday, she told me to have a seat and I did. After a minute she called me back up and told me I was no longer a patient so can't come back for a year because I signed myself out. I tried to explain I was assured I could come back. She kept arguing no I could not and telling me for that reason I could not speak to anyone. I saw the lady who assured me I could come back and I pointed her out. She came up to the window as the glass was shut and their heads were turned only to have the receptionist open the window and tell me I FAILED my drug test so I needed to go. I was a little upset by this point. Remember, all I came in for was a new letter. I wanted to see that failed drug test that never was shown but the actual Dr came out and got me. I thought great, now I will get somewhere. Not a chance! He basically said he did not care if his employees lied to me. Also, I got a new letter alright, it was checked that I was released for threatening behavior towards staff and so on! If you go there, one ing I know is they will lie to you about anything, even if you fail your drug test or not! BEWARE”

“My Dr. I see is Amanda Larson. She's so sweet and always works with me to find a solution to whatever problem I'm having and I have alot of medical problems so for her to put up with me and everything I have going on is awesome! She listens, she cares and you can tell she loves her job and working with people. The office staff there at the Mt. Juliet office are all so nice! There's never a wait more than 5 minutes or so every time I go. Thank you to everyone at this office for always making my visit easy and stress free!”
