Patient Testimonials
“BAD EXPERIENCE. Im in 10/10 pain from 5 slipped discs. I go visit Dr Dreskil (sp?). He begins to tell me that he doesnt do opioids over and over from the beginning like im a drug addict. I tell him over and over thats not why im here. I in pain just fix it. Dont care what I take at this point. He gives me a nerve pill prescription on friday and tells me to call him monday if its not doing the job and we can adjust. COOL. After suffering all weekend, I call Monday morning at 8am and get pushed to his voicemail. I call back Tuesday at 9am and again at 3pm leaving a message both times. I call again on Wednesday at 9am frustrated and talk to the office manager then this doc. They tell me every excuse under the sun. ( had an emergency to deal with, I didnt get your messages, I only see 1 message ). I tell the doc that MY situation is an emergency too. Its affecting every single thing in my life. He spends 2 min on the phone with me and tells me to double my meds. Was that so hard? 120 seconds on the phone. So I call him today which is 2/10 at 8am and leave another message. I call back at 1130 am and show my frustration to the front desk and get transferred to my doc. He tells me that there really isnt anything else he can do bc I take delta 8 ( per my doc for my pain ) and then he tells me that he will just refer me to another place that does opiods. WHAT THE HECK??!!?? I didnt say one word about pain pills. This dude is Looney. I wouldnt go to him if he was the last doc on the face of the planet. This dude just wants to sell a certain pain solution for whatever reason but he is terrible and not nice to deal with and just tries to talk over you like your not smart and he is superior. Will never be back here ever again.”

“Had my first visit today at the Hixson office, and I am genuinely flabbergasted looking at some of these negative reviews. Dr. Dreskin has to be one of the nicest, and seemingly most genuine, doctors I've seen so far in my autoimmune struggle. Straightforward, non-judgemental, and reassuring. I'm beyond excited to start my journey with this office!”

“Dr. Dreskin is a dismissive and judgmental man. I was referred to Tennessee Valley pain management by my PCP. There is nothing more I hate than telling a doctor that I'm in pain. I have a complicated past. The cause of my pain is due to repeated physical trauma to my body for decades and injuring myself several times while working. Not only has that left my body traumatized but my mental health as well. In 2023 I had A trimalleolar fracture which is a break in three parts of the ankle joint: the lateral malleolus, the medial malleolus, and the posterior malleolus. It's the least common type of ankle fracture. The surgery was terrible. My foot was put back on my leg internally by plates and many screws and pins. I was on pain medication for 5 months. Non-weight bearing for 6 months. I wasn't weaned off the medication and was told I should do an outpatient detox which used suboxone to deal with the symptoms that I would have from abruptly stopping the high doses I had been on. I'm not sure why doctors don't wean people off of medication that causes these symptoms when the medication is abruptly stopped but I'm starting to think it has to do with money. I'm putting this all out there because Dr. Dreskin asked me what has caused my pain but never listened to my answer. He kept cutting me off after a few words. He asked why I had been on suboxone in the past. I started to tell him and he again cut me off. He had no idea where I was in pain other than a piece of paper with a picture of a body on it and I had that was from a pack of papers I was given when I first got there. I never even got past the first page before he told me there was nothing he could do for me. He asked me if I was on mental health medication. He asked if had a psychiatrist. I was confused. I have my mental trauma handled. I was referred to him to help me with my pain until I was either surgically fixed or fixed with physical therapy. He had his mind made up about who I was before he ever saw me. I don't matter because somewhere on some piece of paper was a red flag and I didn't matter. I see other doctors and honestly, it seems to me that none of them want to treat me. What I tell them doesn't matter. I'm just a name on a folder with a red flag on it and I'm not worth the paperwork or risk to medically treat but he will mentally treat me. He's probably got something worked out with a psychiatrist friend or a cute pharmaceutical rep. What is a person's choices? What's next?”

“Funniest thing 4 years of chronic pain and best he could do is epidurals that worked about two weeks.Dreskin wants you to come in monthly to see how you feel and possibly schedule another epidural. What he will prescribe will put you down mentally and physically and once you think your heads clearedup it'll leave you with a week of suicidal thoughts.Because he sent you to his buddy in Cleveland because you need mental health counseling and he put you on some bs.BE AWARE Then when you choose to leave he will put bs in you're charts.Leave this guy alone. Not to mention they'll send a notice that you owe them well after you've paid youre out of pocket 75 a month when I haven't been there in two months.Pay 35 on a 75 doller doctor's bill nexttime I come I owe 75 again.”
