Patient Testimonials
“I have never dealt with such a high level of unproffesionalism! I have fibromyalgia and a herniated disc. At my very first visit, Denise was very rude to me. When I went back to see the doctor, he was very rude to me. He would ask me a question and then interrupt when I would try to answer. As a fibromyalgia patient, I was experiencing a very bad memory day and Dr. Saha treated me like i was a liar. I found it very strange that at my first visit, he wanted to sign me up for injections for my herniated disc...why not try a less intense treatment first like using a tens unit?. I gave him the benefit of the doubt because after all, he was the doctor. Big mistake! Before my appointment for injections, Denise called and wanted me to come in an hour early at 9:30 instead of 10:30...I said ok. Big mistake! I had to wait 2 and a half hours in alot of pain. After I went in for injections, I asked the doctor to write on my discharge letter every medication that was used because I would be taking a drug test for my diet pill at my regular doctor. He only wrote down one medicine and told me that the others wouldn't show on a drug test. Later that night, I started developing a rash. It wasn't real bad and I had no other symptoms, so I went to bed because that wasn't even a symptom to report on the discharge paper. The next morning the rash had gotten alot worse and it scared me so I called Dr. Saha's office. No one answered the phone after several attempts so I left a message letting them know it was important, and I needed them to call me back. No phone call from the office. Then I remembered Denise had given me a cell phone number for the office so I had my son snap some pictures of the rash and I sent them to the number. I thought for sure they would contact me, but they never did. I called several times from both my numbers and still no answer. Finally, i wised up and called from my son's phone and Denise answered after only two rings. She was ignoring my calls! Denise said she didn't call "because we don't open until 8 and the phones have been ringing off the hook". REALLY???? I left the message after 8,the staff showed no concern. Denise told me that she would contact Dr. Saha but it might be a while because "you know he is at the VA, he IS the chief of pain". Denise told me that he is the chief of pain several times as if to intimidate me!!!! She even told me at one point that she didn't know what to tell me except take some benadryl...After I hung up, I texted the provided number and asked them to text me all the medications that were used for the injections so I would have that information when I went to the er, no response . Then Denise texted that Dr. Saha wanted to speak to me and to expect a call. He never called. I wanted a discharge letter and Denise asked me what reason she should put on the discharge letter. REALLY???? I told her because of rudeness! I told Denise that someone else was listening as a witness, she got a whole lot nicer! If Dr. Saha keeps Denise as part of their staff after reading this, he probably knows how she is and lets her behave that way!!! Dr. Saha's website claims that his staff is caring, compassionate, and treats patients with dignity!! Lie!! I hope they don't delay giving me my discharge letter and I am snapshotting this complaint in case they remove it. I really hope this does not lead me to have to take legal action! I was skeptical about making this complaint because Denise really tried to intimidate me. But if I can spare one patient from this kind of treatment by this doctor's office, then it will be worth it! No doctor, especially a pain doctor, should ever treat a patient or allow their staff to treat a patient this badly. Its hard enough to deal with pain. With fibromyalgia syndrome, stress causes more pain! I really hope this review helps someone in search of a pain doctor...Nancy Thompson. Btw, the only other call I received during business hours was a call from a private number. I never talked to Dr. Saha!”
