“The Surprise Pain facility is a hole in the wall office, and they purely just want your money, but I just used them to prescribe my cronic back pain medication. I have suffered from chronic low back pain for years. I recently pinched my Sciatic nerve, which is a new injury, and it was the most pain I have endured in my 67 years of life. I was forced to come in for an appointment with Nurse Practioner Julie Overbey as they wouldn't allow a zoom appointment even though I was in excruciating pain. I mean tears from a grown man type of pain. At this brief appointment, I told her my regular pain meds were not even slightly helping the pain. After begging, she prescribed a week's worth of additional pain meds, that were actually a less strength mg dose than my existing pain meds, and I scheduled some injections in my back. I called, and called leaving message after message stating the additional pain meds were not working, and it was going to be an additional week or more before I could get in for the injections. I could not even get a call back, they just ignored my messages. Meanwhile, they had sent a message to my primary Dr. for approval, and they didn't even check back when they hadn't heard anything from him. I had to schedule a zoom appt with my primary Dr. to explain I need approval from him, which he knew nothing about. I'm changing Pain Management doctors after dealing with mediocre service at best, and they are closed on Fridays. I would not recommend Sun Pain Mangement to anyone.”
