“When I arrived at the Summit office on 12/2/25 I was directed to go next door to the surgery center. Why was I not told it would be done in a different office at the time I made the appointment? When I entered the surgery center the lights were off in the waiting room as well as the front desk area. I arrived at 12:59 for a 1:15 PM appointment. There was NO ONE at the front desk. At 1:05 PM a staff member appeared turning on the lights and sat down at the computer. I went to the desk to introduce myself and say I had a 1:15 appointment. She was dismissive, made no eye contact, and said she had to get the system booted up. I was nervous about the procedure and felt even more anxious after being treated in this manner. Eventually she called me up and gave me a clip board with numerous forms to sign. There were statements I could not honestly sign, such having the procedure explained to me as well as the risks associated with the procedure. The staff member who took me back for the procedure was pleasant and friendly. The injection was incredibly painful. I've had two major surgeries and delivered two babies. But, nothing compares to the pain I experienced during the injection. Dr. Patel offered no verbal support nor encouragement. I literally screamed. I couldn't help it. I have a follow up appointment on 1/2/26. I plan to keep it and then find another neurosurgeon.”

“I drive approximately 1 hour to see Dr Patel. I wouldn't drive that far if Dr Patel wasn't that good, but he is AMAZING! Finally have a Dr that listens and understands what I am going thru. He is very patient and has seriously helped me have a somewhat "normal" life. Without Dr Patel (and staff) I can honestly say that I would not be able to walk or function well enough to live on my own. In I have tried several Physicians, he is honestly the best If you are in any kind of pain and it relates to your back, please go. It is worth the drive to see a Dr this good .”

“Everyone at the office was very nice. I actually enjoyed talking to the Dr. My only issue is that the meds that she prescribed are such a low dose that one pharmacy has them in stock And that's in Acworth and I haven't been able to go and get themi like about an hour from there!”
