He actually hears what a patient says. And he doesn't just throw pills at a problem. The man has changed my life. I will never be healed or cured. “I was so afraid to see a pain management physician because of all the negative things I had heard in the past from people I knew. (Not about Dr. Berndt, but about other docs in the same specialty.) First impression for new patients is always reception. The sweet gal with long dark hair was super kind and very helpful explaining the process regarding forms, insurance etc. Then I met Dr. Berndt's Medical Assistant. Another home run. She was knowledgeable, efficient, patient and empathetic. I liked her immediately. Then I met Dr. Berndt. Within the first three minutes I could tell that my fears and apprehension we're totally unfounded with this guy. He came in prepared with my X-rays and past medical history and was familiar with my condition that makes me have pain. He educated me on procedures that can potentially reduce my pain level a great deal. These were treatments I didn't even know existed. He was empathetic to my financial status and continued the medication that was way less expensive than some of the newer ones, and confirmed my Ortho doc's recommendation of surgery to fix some of the issues. He was a very good, kind, empathetic and more than competent doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Berndt and his stellar staff if you need a pain specialist.”

“I have been a patient of Dr Jack Burndt for over 4 years, unfortunately our insurance changed and left me out of network. As I have been trying to get "IN NETWORK" Amber, their receptionist was very rude to my wife and brought her to tears and will "NEVER AGAIN DEAL WITH OUT OF NETWORK PATIENTS " Well, Amber gets to go home and relax over a glass of wine or whatever while I have to deal with pain 24/7 and she doesn't care. She is unwilling to help patients.”
