The front desk staff mistakenly provided me access to another patient's medical records by entering my information into the wrong account. While we share a similar first name, our last names are completely different. After my doctor's visit, I requested an itemized bill, but the staff couldn't assist me. Instead, they provided details about someone else's treatment. When I logged into my online portal later, I discovered that I again had access to this other patient's records, allowing me to see her entire medical history. This not only breaches my privacy but also puts my own information at risk. They updated my information with the other patients information. The lack of professionalism in handling sensitive information is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the clinic's compliance with HIPAA regulations. Immediate action is necessary to address these issues.”
