What Patients Say
Patient Testimonials
“Pain treatment center...... Everyone has been kind, caring, listens to you. Helpful with my appointments and schedules. I trust this doctor and his team of people who work with him. My only request is they get chairs more suitable and supportive for those who have back pain. And not have NEWS CHANNELS PLAYING in the waiting area. That's my personal opinion. This was the first time I have seen news there. Usually it's on funny videos or HGTV or something entertaining. NEWS IS TO POLITICAL AND MY OPINION it's not the right place for people to watch news. Again my opinion... Especially since today's news is all about our Healthcare being taken away from a large majority of the patients that entered the office while I was there. 4 people asked how much without insurance.... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.... Just not the news channels please. And think about updating the chairs that have more supportive comfort for the patients.... As far as the doctor and staff. Always been thorough and efficient. I haven't had to wait long for my appointment ever.”

“Great doctor and team. They are straight forward, don't make promises that you'll be pain free. They do explain the issue and a treatment plan with options so you can be an informed patient. Everyone from the front desk, nurses, PAs and doctors are wonderful. Highly recommended!”

“First I would just like to respond to some of the negative reviews here. Some who have said that he turned them away and treated them like "less than" and did not offer them pain medicine because possibly he didn't like them, that is not the case. I first started seeing Dr Pyles back in 2021 for my back pain. My initial visit made me very uncomfortable as well. He asked me some of the same questions that he asks everybody; are you here for narcotics? Some of you need to understand with the opioid crisis and the way this system has cracked down on pain management doctors, these doctors have to weed out those who ARE just there for narcotics and those who are sincerely looking for comfort from their pain and a solution. He would also ask me to point to where my pain was coming from. At that time I wasn't sure how to define exactly where it was coming from because when I would get to a very high pain level my whole lower back hurt. It was quite a process but I had to be as patient with him as I expected him to be with me. He has helped me many times with injections, epidurals, joint blockers and pain meds, when that was the only thing that would work. I had to go a full year without being able to see Dr Pyles to help manage my pain because I had changed insurance companies and he was not in network with them back in 2024. I saw another pain management doctor whose strongest medication that he could give me for my pain, following back surgery no less, was gabapentin and a muscle relaxer. Neither of which did anything for my pain. So once I was able to change my insurance back, I was able to go back to Dr Pyle's and get some relief while we figured out the next step. He and my neurosurgeon now are in agreement as to what issue they feel very confident is going on with my back. Now I am seriously considering having him perform a small, outpatient procedure to help relieve the biggest part of my pain. One of the hardest things to diagnose is where someone's exact pain is coming from. Even after three MRIs we did not have a conclusive reason for my pain. My neurosurgeon jumped into a surgery with fusion at L4 L5 with a laminectomy and today I am suffering from post-laminectomy syndrome AKA - FBSS And both Dr Pyles and the surgeon have arrived at the same conclusion. While it took some time and patience to get to this point I am reasonably confident that this procedure will give me some relief. In the beginning, as I stated earlier, I felt uncomfortable being asked if I was there for narcotics. I have much confidence in Dr Pyles and I will continue to see him for as long as I need to or for as long as he is in practice.”
