“I wanted to explain why I think Dr Steimnitz is such a wonderful physician who is helping me after I developed extreme pain in my lower back and additional extreme pain in my left leg, due to nerve pain related to my lower spine. When Dr Steimnitz began serving as my treating physician he took the necessary steps to have my back X-rays taken, followed by him ordering an MRI for my very painful lower spine area. After the X-rays and the MRI, Dr Steimnitz is now in that process of seeking to have an EMG Nerve Study done to analyze the nerve damage in my legs. Once the EMG Nerve Study is done, Dr Steimnitz advised me that he wants me to have an appt with Dr Sigurd Berven MD, the orthopedic surgeon leading the UC San Francisco Spine Center. I am convinced that once I have the Nerve Study and physical exam by Dr Berven, Dr Steimnitz will then decide what the next step will be for me to be able to have my extreme back pain and extreme pain on my left leg and foot eliminated. Dr Steimnitz has been very helpful for me to have him serve as my treating physician.
