Patient Testimonials

really did enjoy this business until a few weeks ago. Morgan and Dr hsu are great - but their staff is not. Their medical assistant dropped the ball on a preauthorization that was never submitted or received by my insurance company. So I called my insurance company and they explained they didn't have anything on file. Not a preauthorization, not anything. Called the office back and the assistant continued to argue with me and say she submitted the request on Jan 22. I called my insurance again and ended up having my insurance leave a voicemail stating they do not have anything even pending.

I'm honestly very shocked at my experience here. I have stage 4 endometriosis and some other suspected issues that cause me severe chronic pain in my pelvis, hips, lower back, and abdomen. My OBGYN referred me here (will be contacting her office to not use this place anymore) and I was originally scheduled for yesterday. I have a TBI and have to put everything on my calendar or I don't remember. When I had made the appointment, the person on the phone confirmed with me that I would be coming in at 11am. I get there day of, they say my appointment was at 10am and I was almost an a hour late. I figured it was on me and my TBI brain, and was rescheduled for today. My appointment (confirmed verbally multiple times) was at 1:15pm. When I go my confirmations this time, I double checked, and it said 1pm. So I called and was told that it said 1pm even though I was scheduled for 1:15 pm because I needed to be 15 minutes early. I get there, check in, no problem. I ended up waiting for almost an hour. Checked in at 1pm, called back at 1:50pm. I had arrived with 2 other people who were in and out while I was still waiting. I get back to the room and it's 2 medical students, which normally I don't mind because I get they have to learn and observe. Whatever. These girls were acting like it was a mock class day or something with a pretend patient. They didn't seem to know what they were doing at all and were more interested in talking to each other than me, the patient, coming in for severe chronic pain and chronic illness. It was a little after 2pm when they left. About 5 minutes later, the physicians assistant came in like she was is in a massive rush and I was the inconvenience. She rushes through her questions and her tone was condescending and rude, which didn't match her fake kind words. She had me stand up to feel around the areas where my pain is and as I did so, she asked some questions about my cane (I have vertigo and pots and chronic pain, I can't be mobile without it) and looked at me like I had no reason to need it. She started pushing around my lower back to get an idea of what hurts and what doesn't. Normal right? Nope. She wasn't just feeling or poking she was digging what felt like her whole knuckle along my lower back and hip area which set off a fiery, burning, sharp pain. I flinched, gasped, and instinctively tried to move away but she didn't stop and just kept digging across multiple times. The only acknowledgement she gave was "ya that hurts, ya okay". When she stopped, I wanted to cry and was thankful she told me to sit on the patient table, but one of the students came back to get the assistant who promptly left, in the middle of my examination. I looked at the clock and it was only 2:10pm. She'd barely been examination me for 10 minutes. I waited until almost 2:20pm and then I just walked out. I can't drive currently so a family member always takes me to appointments and today luckily it was my no nonsense dad. I texted him to come in and meet me so I could have someone walking me out. This behavior to me is insanely unprofessional, rude, and honestly vile. I've never walked out in the middle of an appointment like that. While I know I missed my original appointment, I wish I had missed this one.

Dr Hsu and Morgan are amazing! I've been seeing Dr Hsu for about 11 years, and refuse to even think about going somewhere else no matter how far away I move. He has treated me for chronic pain with several different injection types and has been a literal lifesaver, helping me keep a quality of life after life changing injury. He listens to what I say and knows exactly how to treat my various issues and conditions. He explains thoroughly and makes sure I understand what is happening, potential risks. Morgan has shown compassion for my current state as well as concern for future needs. She always listens and both agree and Dr Hsu give me the time I need to make sure I am a participant in my care.
