What Patients Say
Patient Testimonials
“I really wish I could leave a ZERO RATING!! I had an appointment with them on 6 December and they cancelled and didn't even give a call or anything!! And I cannot even reach anyone there. Voicemails are always full. Very unprofessional of them, especially with this being my first appointment. Glad I didn't make the drive at 7a.m., because my appointment was at 8!! Absolutely unprofessional. I finally called to see when my appt was since my provider had it moved up due to their not calling to tell me my first was cancelled and giving me a another appt a month and half later, they tell me this appt is cancelled too, because they claim "I was rude on the phone." Lol. That's exactly why my machine records all my calls, so that's how I know they're lying. And the staff can be heard totally ignoring all I spoke about. It's good that I won't be going there because actual former patients have told me that the staff is rude, they treat patients like drug addicts, and they'll automatically cancel/discharge you for any/every. I refuse to go to a place where I have to bow down and not be treated with respect. I have a clean record with my meds, clean drug tests and all. Makes people wonder about the staff and what they're doing. I'm thankful to NOT HAVE TO GO!!!!!!!”

“I have been here 4 times every time they make a reason NOT to write a prescription. Every time I went to Egypt and was given tramadol for pain spectrum said I failed my drug test bc they have no record of the prescription. The first visit they said they didn't have my records and it's illegal to write a prescription. The other visit said they don't have enough records for me .they have my records from memphis,x rays everything. They are not the only pain clinic in Jackson that accepts insurance and I'm not going to let them have any more of my money and tell me they can't help me. Teresa doesn't even know what she's doing and the patient is the one that does everything. She said I have acute pain which is false its been 9 months that is not acute pain. She finds a reason every time not to help me. Meanwhile my general practitioner has bent over backwards to help me and spectrum is able to do and they refuse. Go somewhere else. I wish I read these reviews before I ever went in the first place this is my last time. Teresa ignores anything you say and pushes you along like she's not getting paid to see you. She doesn't deserve the money she gets. They push shots onto people. I'm serious do not give these people your money. You mean after months you don't have enough records to decide anything???? You are trash believe these reviews. Also you won't be able to get another appointment for another month ,so it's month to month you won't be helped. One day will come it will be her turn to be in pain and I hope she goes through as many hoops as she puts her patient through. I wish she would loose her license then she woukd know how it feels to be at the mercy of someone who could help but won't.”

“I wish I could rate them negative. I had 2 bad experiences with them. I tried again within a 5 year lapse hoping the 2nd time, they would have better management. They sent me to Memphis for a nerve block on my leg instead of my back which I suffer from flatback syndrome. She saidn if I tried the injection and it didn't work, she'd give me low dosage of pain medication. I tried the injection and she did NOT give me any pain medicine. She called in a pain cream at a pharmacy in Mississippi when my insurance coverage is State of Tennessee. So that was the first time, and I gave up and started self-medicating. The 2nd time the nasty FNP told me I had to stop self-medicating and drinking which helped my pain for 30 days before they would even talk about what was the next step. If I could go 30 days with nothing, I wouldn't have been at a pain clinic. The signs that say DO NOT RECORD are illegal because they know they are doing something wrong. This clinic should be turned in and investigated. I moved on and am satisfied with the care I am now receiving. If I weren't in constant pain 24/7, I would not be at a pain clinic. Baffles the mind why they won't treat each individual patient to his or her own needs. (Opinion from some of the reviews sounds similar)”

“I went to Spectrum for a pain management procedure on my neck. This would have been done elsewhere but my doctor moved to Memphis. I was not there for pills. The NP arranged the procedure that an MD would perform. The MD never saw my face or spoke my name. He came into the procedure room after I was anesthetized and face down on the table and left after he gave me the injections. The procedure room is separated from the waiting area by a door and while waiting on my procedure I listened to two patients having theirs performed. The nurses and MD were yelling the name of the patient telling them to be still. It was embarrassing. Then once the procedure is complete the patient is rolled out to sit in the waiting area for recovery. No privacy. No dignity preserved. The office is noisy with the workers talking loudly and cutting up with one another. I could literally hear way too much information about other patients. Doors were open that shouldn't be open. Honestly, the whole experience was like something from a bad movie. Very unprofessional. Go elsewhere!”
