Patient Testimonials

I love Dr. Grisafi, he is professional and caring. He doesn't push you into doing surgery if you aren't ready to do so, he will give you other options to try first. He's honest but compassionate. Nurse Megan was also wonderful! She was very thorough and explained my options and maybe some other possible options. Megan is exceptionally caring and professional while also connecting with me on a personal level. She made me very comfortable and more at ease. Hope to see you Megan for my injection with Dr. Gemma!!

Edit: Got my stock "Quality Team" reply. I'm not sure if they have a "team"....but if they do, they don't care about quality. That's just more of the facade of "care". Lol! Although I read the reviews (and they were exactly what I expected), I still kept my appointment. And it went exactly as expected. It's always the faux care, with service that says anything but. And, of course, the cookie cutter "treatment" is always present. I'm not sure what the issue is with Southwoods, but the incompetent and uncaring encounters, are too much. I can understand going the cheap route (x-ray), first. But after the issue is recognized, a more in depth test should be done to see the extent of the problem. I was channeled into Southwoods because my primary physician moved from Mercy to Southwoods. I've felt stuck every since. But that's on me. I have options with the health insurance I have, and just haven't utilized it. Although decent healthcare is almost non-existent (most doctors are broke-minded, and just need to collect a check)....convenience have played too big a roll in me staying with them. This place is not worth your health.

I'm reading some of these reviews and wondering if it's the same place I've been going for the last year. I have never had any of these negative experiences. I saw Dr Williams my first visit and he was very nice, he had all my medical/surgeries information, was pleased with my choice of the surgeon who's care I had been under who had referred me for pain management do to failed epidurals, PT and acupuncture. Upon reviewing all the information he made the decision that I was definitely a candidate for pain management. I had told him that I had tried the marijuana gummies and actual weed (over rated) procedure was I would do initial urine test then they would call with results there was a waiting period then they called me for follow up urine test next call I got was appt to go over meds that were going to be prescribed. Upon that appt script was called into my preferred pharmacy CVS. A pain management plan was put into place and yes I have to go every 30 days with my bottle of meds yes they count the pills that's what pain management is. This is done in your best interest to avoid addiction. I'm good with that. My script is renewed on specific day each month. Pain management is a better practice than handing you a bottle of pills with an unlimited amount of refills. Quite frankly, there's people out there who take advantage by not following instructions and then there's those people who will sell their pills for $$. That's just the cold hard facts. I now see the same NP every month, Tom. He's great, compassionate and he always asks me if I have any questions for him and if I need anything don't hesitate. My husband has stage IV metastatic cancer and he never fails to ask how he's doing, how I'm doing. Look if you want pain management then you have to let them manage it. I'm grateful for the care I am receiving.

I wrote a more detailed complaint under Dr. William's reviews. Im very leary of this facility and the physician my mother saw. She didnt receive an actual assessment from Dr. William's. He spoke with my mother for about 10 min. And read an imaging report from imaging taken amd ordered by Cleveland clinic. He did not suggest his own diagnostic testing or do a hands on physical assessment. Office doesnt return phone calls. I wanted to give zero stars but Google made me give atleast 1. One is way too generous for these clowns at this circus.
