What Patients Say
Patient Testimonials
“I have been dealing with back/neck pain for over 10 years which led to surgery on both. It was not successful and has been a very long journey. Someone recommended Dr. Newton and after just 2 visits, I am already having positive results. I feel very comfortable with him, he explains everything clearly and makes sure I understand what the objective is for my treatment. I highly recommend him. He's very knowledgeable, helpful and understanding. He and his staff are great!!”

“My referring orthopedic doctor sent my referral to your office 12/29. I never got a call so a week later I called the office and left a voicemail. A few more days passed and I never got a call so I called again but got the voicemail. Finally, 2 weeks after my referral was sent over, on my 3rd call in I got someone on the phone and asked to make my appointment for the cervical injection I needed. I spoke to a receptionist who was less than friendly with borderline rude phone etiquette. So, a couple weeks later here's how my appointment went. I arrived today at 8:55. My appointment was at 9:00. I was greeted by a sign at the window that states, Be advised: "Poor planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part." Along with a sign saying New Patients must arrive 30 minutes early and existing patients must arrive 15 minutes early. I had no clue of this policy. I gave the front desk lady my name and was given the 5th degree by the receptionist. She stated to me that her manager told me to arrive 30 minutes early. I have no memory of being told that whatsoever and whoever answered the phone when I made my appointment was not the manager. The lady at the window then asked me if I wanted her to ask Dr. Newton IF he still wanted to see me. Like, what???!!!??? A couple minutes later she returned and asked me if I'd like to "wait and just be worked in." I asked her what the reason was why I needed to be here 30 minutes early when I had already filled out ALL my new patient forms online and had even uploaded my ID and insurance card. The only answer she provided was that it is Dr. Newton's policy. No logical or reasonable response. I sat down and began to wait and wait...and wait. At 9:25 a woman walked in for her 9:30 appointment. I asked the woman if she liked Dr. Newton and she said it was her first visit. The lady at the front desk said ZERO words to her. At 9:51 she was called back and I was still waiting. I walked out. I will never return. I wasted an hour of MY because of your ridiculous, unfriendly and unwelcoming policy. Absolutely stupid practice. Referrals by word of mouth go ask long way. I'll be spreading the word to warn others about this Dr. and his silly little practice...”

“Very unprofessional and lacking in moral integrity. The lab they use has really bad reviews and several lawsuits as well. My husband came here for chronic pain management and got nothing but a very hard time. Defamation of character on my husband's name. All is being looked into with the lab and office staff! First, I would like to thank you for responding to my review; however for me to even leave a bad review something is wrong. My husband was targeted and he will not speak up for himself. I however will; The test was an oral swab and he also was given a urinalysis. Now I spoke to Aegis myself and they confirmed that the drug that my chronic pain husband was positive for a substance; and there has been up to a 10% fail rate. Not all of your patients is given an oral swab it has to be requested. Now I know and your office staff do to my husband and along with a few others were targeted and if you just wanted to discharge him that is fine but to lie on his character is another. Not to be brutally honest he was short a few meds 1 time not twice but he had confided in one of the providers about break through pain meds! He never got a chance to discuss it again. The office staff is rude; well most! I thought the provider would be a good fit for my husband's pain control. Whom by the way never took an aspirin until he got sick. So yes; I will defend him and others like him and have this looked into. Maybe a better system with office staff needs to be put in place. Have a great day!”

“The office staff was amazing the nurse in the office was kind and patient she listened to all my health concerns. The staff at the hospital before during and after my injection were wonderful, very professional and personal also. Julie the procedure room nurse is amazing with good music playing and very personal as is the surgical tech working the x-ray with DR. Newton. Well done. DR. Newton was amazing telling me exactly what he was doing, it was very relaxing to me hearing these 3 professionals working together. I hope I don't have to see them again soon but I do know when I have to have another injection it is done with the same professionalism and pride as the 1st. Thanks again, Dan”
