Patient Testimonials

I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with the office manager (her name starts with a J) at Southern Pain Institute and I must say it was one of the most unprofessional interactions I've ever had. The manager had a dismissive attitude and was openly rude. When I inquired about billing concerns, instead of providing assistance, the manager responded with sarcasm and condescension- telling me she "was grown" and "wasn't going to do all that". Her tone was sharp, and she seemed more interested in belittling me than addressing my concerns. It's disheartening to see someone in a managerial position treating clients with such disrespect. If I could a no- star review, I would. Good luck to anyone who has to deal with her.

Google Review for Pain Clinic I'd leave a zero if it was an option. I am extremely disappointed with the treatment my husband received at this clinic. After serving in the military, he is currently navigating the process of medical retirement, and his recent appointment was nothing short of a nightmare. The staff were rude, condescending, and dismissive, making an already difficult situation even worse. My husband, who has survived a stroke last year, was met with skepticism regarding his symptoms--something that no veteran should ever have to face. To add insult to injury, the provider even questioned the validity of his prescription glasses, implying he was being untruthful about his condition. It's disheartening to see someone treated with such disrespect. I strongly urge the Army/VA or any contracting agency to reevaluate their partnership with this clinic. No one should endure this level of treatment. I hope others will think twice before choosing this clinic for their care.

it is hard to identify what went well on my visit. From the moment i walked in I felt completely out of place. I asked myself, is this an Institute? I never had the feeling of being treated with courtesy and respect. When I saw the doctor, she did not even introduce herself. When she starting asking questions about my health, I told her that the information she was asking me was in the form I completed. She became very defensive at that point. The only reason I did not walk out of the place was because I needed the results of my test urgently. When I saw the neurologist I brought up the referral issues I had for what he apologized. Trying to be as fair as possible, I visited the web site. There is almost no useful information there, much less any professional references of whoever is managing the place. I feel bad giving this review, but I did it hoping to help other people to make a good decision about pain management providers.
