What Patients Say
Patient Testimonials
“I have been a patient at this office for many years, and I've seen many doctors and staff members come and go. I truly appreciate Dr. Hubbard, Dr. Schuyler, and the rest of the team. However, I had a concerning experience this morning with the new receptionist who answered the phone. Her tone came across as rude and unprofessional. My work phone automatically records all calls, so I am able to provide the recording to the office if needed. I do not want any trouble. Life gets especially busy during the holidays, and because I travel frequently, I occasionally need early refills--usually about three times a year--to accommodate cross-country trips. Given that, it was disappointing to have someone at a clinic I respect so much respond with, "Uhm, I'm looking up the medication laws!!". The tone and wording felt unnecessary and disheartening, especially from a place that has always provided such excellent care. Staff, Please be mindful of how you speak to patients. Even if some of us can be a bit much at times, kindness goes a long way. The goal is to make patients feel welcomed and supported, not pushed away. Ally-”

“Checked in and had some trouble with the check in process. The staff was very helpful. The Dr was fantastic he spent the time to answer all my questions. He helped me and did not try and make it hard on me. The only think is the wait time was little longer than expected. I would recommend this place to my friends.”

“What a horrible Experience. I've been a patient and had my first appointment in August. They made this appointment for me without receiving all my medical records.I suffer from severe back and hip pain. My first injection from them was around August 15, they schedule me for two more back injection at the end of August, so that is three back injection in two weeks. Scheduling all these back injections, but did not have all my medical records. They continued to schedule these appointments without my medical records. had an appointment November 6 I walk in, went to the window to check in and it appears to be a new young lady which she was very kind, but she was getting trained by one of the ladies that usually work in the back.I don't know her name big round face black hair she kind of on the heavy side.she was the one that called my name and took my blood pressure last month, that was the only time I had any encounter with her.so on November 6 was my second encounter with this lady. I went to the window check in . I feel that this was already set up. Talk about before I walked in. Attitude change soon as I told her my name to check in .I even told them they had a beautiful Christmas tree in the beginning as soon as she find out my name that's when the attitude changed.I got yelled at because they did not receive my medical records. I have called my old dr office several times they assure me that they been sent it and they sent it several times after . I don't feel like that conversation was appropriate in front of other patient. a few minutes later the PA or whatever her position is came into the room the first thing she said was she finally got my medical record, but she did not have enough time to look through it but she has it. I asked her so I just wanna make sure that you got all of it, this time .at that moment, she started yelling and screaming at me as if I was a child keep in mind, I have severe back pain and hip pain sciatica all of the above, so I never thought that my appointment would be a nightmare she was fussing even after she received the medical records she was , talking to me like if I'm a child in the principals office.with that being said I started telling her that my primary doctor prescribe me gabapentin and another type of anti-inflammatory she was totally upset. I'm not sure if doctors get paid for prescribing medication, but she went ballistic. I started crying because I'm already in pain, but I felt like I was being yell at, like a child then she turned around and told me to calm down. I guess she was the victim at that point .she told me to calm down because she made me cry. She told me that she was asking me for my medical records for several months, I only been a patient three months , but you cannot get mad at me because I did everything they ask me to do.as a human being as a patient I did not deserve how they attacked me at this appointment. I felt intimidated because I was trapped in a doctors office in a room getting yelled at , This lady told me I need a Psychologist and walk out the door And left the door open while I was crying.I was sitting in the room for a while because I was not told have a good day or I am finish nothing as I was checking out, the lady upfront was yelling at me telling me I'm always coming in there with an attitude.I Been there a few times, and I only had one counter with her. when I go to my appointment, I am always going in pain but never going with an attitude. I love life. Im a happy spirit person. I even told her I was a Christian.I share with her where my church is. And my Pastor would not be happy with me with an attitude so I don't have a attitude.I was trying to defuse the situation .I was already embarrassed because other people were in there.I will never refer anyone there. We should not get this type of treatment from anyone. Definitely not a pain management team. this was horrible. I did contact the office manager. She was not happy about this experience very apologetic, but this It's not over trust me.crazy”

“My 91 year old mother had a knee ablation there. We were very pleased with every person we met there!! They were wonderful.. before visiting..we really had no idea how she could be relieved of her knee pain.. Dr Schuyler explained the procedure and we are pleased!! My mother had no side effects and is doing much better .. ****Dr Schuyler and his assistant were wonderful..!his staff in the office were not! It appears it takes an act of congress to get a Perscription sent to a pharmacy..! I had to find a pharmacy who had morphine 15 mg to get them. To send the script.. I was told it could be as far away as Myrtle Beach or Bluffton there is a shortage of it.. I asked for possibly changing the script to help my mother's pain( 91years old) I was told no.. after calling around I found it at Walmart on Lady's Island ..I was told at the Dr's office the would not send to Walmart.... I found it at the Ravenel CVS.. before noon.. I went in and explained it was in Ravenel.. I was told they would call it in there and I would be notified.. mind you it is now 3:44 pm and no one will answer the phone! I will say the Drs good but his staff doesn't care.. I tried to call twice in the last five minutes before 4 pm and no one will answer the phone! We are discontinuing service. I can't even get them to answer the phone to notify them!”
