“Truly, Dr. Schuyler is the best!! I left his practice because of poor staffing like his Physician Assistant Casey. His rough and unpleasant receptionists ( especially nasty Ashley) make it miserable to walk into his office, because they are abrasive, in my opinion ... like the "Soup Nazi" on Seinfeld. And honestly, it's difficult to make an appointment for this office, because the calls are not taken at this location. Consequently, I made my appointments in person, because it was easier than the current phone "merry- go -round," system. Please fix the loose nuts and bolts of this practice, and I'd be happy to return. Dr. Schuyler, it's impossible for you to perform everyone else's job. Patients come to your practice to feel better. And I miss Haley! Don't bother trying Dr. Emily Darr at another practice, because it's much worse there; although she has better staffing. She uses the Charleston Surgery Center in Nexton, which is rated 3.9 reviews. Too much Drama for a spinal epidural. They are incredibly rude and lazy in my opinion. Patients sacrifice and pay a lot of money for health insurance and healthcare. And they expect to be treated well. I'm now a happy patient with Dr. Christopher Merrill. I'd honestly consider returning to Dr. Schuyler, once things are fixed here! My suggestion is to hire a management team to turn this practice around. Dr. Schuyler is too talented to put up with mediocrity!!”

“I have been a patient here for 3 years. I received a phone call, from them, 2 days before a medication refill appointment. They notified me that they no longer accept my insurance and I would have to pay $275 if I came in. I am disabled and on a fixed income. I asked if they could just refill my meds with a 1 week supply to get time to find a new pain manager covered by my insurance. They told me they cant do that without me being seen. WHAT? I have been on the same meds prescribed by them for 3 years. Now I will run out of meds before I am able to be seen by a new pain manager that is covered by my insurance. The other major complaint is they canceled an appointment on me 2 months ago. It took me 4 days to get in touch with their office. I must have left 12 voicemails and never got a call. It took me calling them 20 times a day to get someone to answer the phone. I ran out of medications for those 4 days, as well. This place could care less about meeting their patients needs or returning phone calls. They try and bully you into getting injections and a spinal stimulator by threatning you that they are going to reduce your meds. AVOID THIS PLACE.”

“The receptionist is horrible rude to abrupt has no empathy on patients. And when you can't pay your full bill because you have to pay your other bills first you don't get refills and you don't get seen. When you're on a medication and you cannot abruptly stop it and your PA tells you you cannot abruptly stop it they won't let you be seen and when I asked to leave a message the receptionist tried to argue with me if you don't pay in full you can't be seen and you can't get your prescriptions filled ridiculous I was coming in to be able to pay half my bill and I still couldn't be seen nor get my prescription filled. I've been in the medical field for a while and if you do not have empathy for your patience you should not be working in the medical field where you should be working is a loan company please and this is not a loan company this is dealing with people's health and well-being and the front office does not show that.”

“Going to make this short. First how did they go from a 2.4 star in 6 mths to a 4.2 current? There's no way. All that is bogus or most of it is bogus. Second is get rid of both receptionist. Rude and please do not disturb of one of them is eating and hour after they get there. They need to be hired on as prison guards. 3rd Casey hears me but she's not listening. It's not her pain so she going to do what's best for her. And 4th went and got 2 shots today. And now I see why some of the staff act the way they do. I have never had a doctor tell me to make an appointment to talk to him about these issues as I was told today by him. I got 3 words out and got cut completely off by the doctor. And then ask me do I want the shots or not. 4.2 stars is a lie! And for the record I'm not a pill seeker. So this has nothing to do with pain meds. Like I said THEY HEAR ME BUT THEIR NOT LISTENING! I will not waste Medicare and Medicaid and united healthcare money for treatment like this. It's all about the money. And as for that spine stimulator. Read people the pros and cons. I was asked to try it when they found out I had Medicare. I denied it! It might be taking the pain away but it doesn't solve the actual problem. And they should tell people batteries will run low and back to surgery you go for batteries and they tweek the stimulator. Bottom line they do what's best for them not the patient ! First 2 months I had no problem. Believe me it changes up and it will get worse with these people.”
