Dr Soliman is a top physician and dual board-certified in the fields of anesthesiology and pain management. He started his own practice as he wanted to build an ethical practice that is completely patient-oriented and not motivated by seeing a high number of patients, but by providing quality care to each and every patient. In addition to Sigma Pain Clinic, Dr. Soliman works at the University of Texas Health in San Antonio teaching residents, fellows, and medical students. Additionally, he is an adjunct professor at The University of Incarnate World. Besides this, Dr. Soliman also works as an expert panelist on the Texas Medical Board. Dr.

Patient Testimonials

Sigma Pain Clinic is one of the best places I've been! The Drs are Patient, Professional, and Knowledgeable! I've been going here for about 6 years and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Dr Solimon diagnosed me the first time meeting me. He's been helping me ever since. Dr Chris has been with me for about 5ish years and is amazing. I love all the people who work here. They really feel like family, and nobody wants their family to hurt!

I recently went with my aunt to Sigma Pain Dr in Live Oak, and what happened there was one of the most unprofessional experiences I've ever witnessed. Back in October 2025, they told her she had to pay $1,240 upfront for her injections, so she paid it. She had no reason to think anything was wrong. But when she tried to schedule her December 9th, 2025 appointment, the office suddenly told her she owed even more money. That's when I stepped in to help her understand what was going on -- especially because she had already met her deductible and nothing they said made sense. We called her insurance, and that's when she first learned she should have only paid $65 back in October, not $1,240. She had been overcharged by $1,175. After several calls, it seemed everything was sorted out and my aunt finally felt relieved and ready for her next appointment. But when she arrived for her December appointment, the office tried to charge her another $265 upfront, even though they actually owed her a refund. My aunt was so overwhelmed she was in tears. The office manager was extremely rude, dismissive, and confrontational with both of us. Instead of helping clear up the billing mistake, she argued, made accusations, and escalated the situation. My aunt had to call her insurance right there in the lobby so they could speak to the office directly and explain that the charges were wrong. Only then did they allow her to have the procedure. And even after the insurance representative confirmed the billing error, the office still refused to give her the refund she is owed. They even said, "After we see what your insurance pays, you may still owe us," when in reality, they owe her approximately $1,110 after subtracting her $65 copay. Insurance was covering the rest. Bottom line: it came across like they were preparing to double-dip and keep her money. To make things even worse, the office skipped basic safety protocols. For the type of procedure my aunt had, a driver is required, and that driver must sign paperwork with their name and phone number. My aunt had to insist just to get the forms so she could put me down as her driver -- they hadn't planned to collect any of that information. She could have easily walked out and driven herself with no record of who was responsible for her care. That is dangerous and unacceptable. And after the procedure? No follow-up appointment. No after-care instructions. Nothing. They simply sent her out the door after everything they put her through. What I witnessed was unacceptable: * incorrect and misleading billing * refusal to return money that is clearly owed * repeated attempts to collect even more * zero accountability * a hostile and unprofessional office manager * failure to follow basic safety requirements for a sedated patient * no follow-up care for a pain patient Anyone considering this office should double-check every charge with your insurance and be prepared for major issues with their front office. Patients deserve far better than this.

First and foremost my doctor was a good doctor but the way I was treated in the billing sense was not good. I was told back in October that I must pay 1240.00 up front because they said that this was for my deductible when in fact it wasn't for my deductible. They just decided to take a ton of money up front that they shouldn't have. Then they tried to take additional money for my procedure this December which I didn't pay. After struggling to try and get some money back I was informed I would get 645 back when in fact I should be getting 710.00. I am tired of arguing with them so I guess I am screwed out of the additional money. Another thing is that I had to make sacrifices in order to pay the exorbitant amount of that money up front. It does take time for all the credits to be processed in my bank account so Christmas this year will be significantly less because I don't have that money as of yet. Maybe if their non existent billing department would have verified with my insurance this would not have ever happened, I would still be able to go to the doctor and I wouldn't be struggling for Christmas. My trust for doctors offices are low at this moment.
