Shoreline Interventional Pain Center - Pain Management in New London, Connecticut

“If I could post a negative amount of stars I would. I'm trying to find a pain management doctor for my step mom who is struggling with long-term chronic back pain after multiple back surgeries. The receptionist, Kat M. answered the phone as if my call was an annoyance. She is apparently the only one there while everyone else is at lunch. After I was trying to figure out why the referral hasn't gone through yet, she told me they are still waiting for paperwork from her primary. I asked if I could then schedule an appointment in the meantime, but was told Donna (the referral coordinator) would have to review the paperwork and would call to schedule the appointment. My number was supposed to be given to make the appointment as my step mom gets very confused. She told me I wasn't listed as an emergency contact so they wouldn't call me. I indicated I'm not sure why that didn't happen as I am the emergency contact for the primary...and asked how we can make that happen. She hung up on me. I tried calling back 4 times and was continuously hung up on. Finally she answered with an awful attitude. I am absolutely horrified and disgusted with the lack of respect, service and care for patients needing help. Shame on you, Kat M. Doctors, I hope you're reading this and recognize this is an issue with your service personnel. I will not be bringing my stepmom to your center and will be sure to relay my bad experience to anyone who will listen.”

She also made me feel comfortable in meeting her for the first time. I didn't feel rushed with any of the staff. All were very professional and I would recommend them to my friends and family.”

“My appointment was for pain shots in a very sore arthritic knee which prevented me from exercising. Doctor Kadian and the wonderful staff at Pequot Medical have perfected each part of a patient's experience during the process of having these shots. Each nurse does their work with care and kindness. The patient is made as comfortable as possible during the entire process. Everyone works together like a well oiled machine. This was one of several times I had Pain Clinic shots, usually for chronic back pain. They have kept me out of pain and from surgery for several years.
