“This doctor was extremely dismissive. He repeatedly said "let me finish" while I was attempting to talk, smirked when I mentioned my job as a recreational therapist in corrections, and said "what a nice job" in a condescending tone. Right away before even knowing what my accident was he was pushing a procedure on me. When I asked if he knew what my accident was he said He didn't think my traumatic accident was important to discuss for my neck pain since it wouldn't change the treatment. He even laughed under his breath while telling me not to listen to my acupuncturist because "she's not a healthcare professional." Someone who I have really trusted with my body for years. I left feeling invalidated and frustrated.... definitely not someone I'd recommend if you want respectful or compassionate care. I wish I could give 0 stars.”
