“After being tossed around from doctor to doctor after my primary physician retired I was referred to Rebecca Montgomery and I was at first pleased with her care when I first started seeing her about a year and a half ago. These days things have changed. I've been dealing with acid reflux for pretty much my whole adult life, but about two months ago my systems grew steadily worse and when we determined my over the counter medicine was no longer working she suggested to change me to a prescription medication to help with the pain. This medicine became a problem for my insurance who needed prior authorization to cover it. After about a week of waiting and no words from either the doctors office or my insurance my pain in my chest became unbearable so I called the doctors office to see if they could put me on something while waiting for the insurance to decide. I was told by the assistant that they would talk to the doctor and get to me quickly. This was a Thursday afternoon and by Friday late afternoon I still hadn't heard anything and I was getting worried that I was going to have to really suffer all weekend. I called the doctors office again and again was told they'd talk to the doctor and get back to me. About an hour passed and I got the call I was wanting to hear, she was going to put me on another medication yay! Relief! I thought. I waited a couple of hours and called my pharmacy to see if my new meds were filled so I could come get them, and was surprisingly told nobody had called anything in at all. I went all weekend (working the whole time) through intense pain and misery. I became so frustrated I gave up and referred myself to Dr. Google for some help and after drastically changing my diet after losing weight from not eating and drinking mylanta and pesto bismol by the jug I slowly started to feel better. So this doctor has failed me and no I would not recommend using doctor Google but I couldn't in clear conscious recommend Rebecca Montgomery either. Thank you for reading this.
