Patient Testimonials
“I have used this facility several times for RFA procedures. They are compassionate and very efficient. The doctor I see is very good!”
— Glenn Mizner
“I wouldn't even give this one Star. If you have chronic pain that keeps you unable to do daily life activities without having this pain eating at you in the back of your mind constantly, do not go here. The admin and nursing staff were nice enough. So was Dr George Lin. He was...pleasant, but you quickly feel as though you're just another faceless patient, a number on a sheet, a nice bill. My appointments were spaced four to six months apart. As I'm reading the office notes from my records printout (I'm going to another pain management place and needed the records), I see that on the notes it says that my last appointment, 12/30/20, says to return on 4/30/21. This is a lie. I was told to make an appointment for June, so I did for 6/09/21. It also says to contact him if my symptoms worsen or fail to improve. I was never told this in our appointment, so this is also a lie. On my first appointment, 8/25/20, it says to return on 11/25/20. I was told to return at the end of December. Another lie. Again, contact him if my simpsons worsen or fail to improve. This was not told to me. Another lie. I already knew I had a herniated disc at L4-5 from a previous injury in 2012. I received my MRI results a day after my MRI via the Sentara app, and it turns out I have two more bulging discs at L2-3 and L3-4 with an annular tear at L3-4. I was never contacted by his office to go over the test results. I had to Google what an annular tear is to figure out what this new issue is. Basically, I'm in a lot of freaking pain. I get maybe 4 hours of sleep a night before I wake up with horrible slicing pain across my lower back and around my hips. Sometimes, it runs down my right buttock and down to my right knee. I cannot put even the slightest finger pressure on my lower spine without sharp pain. I live every day in hell with this pain. If you're like this, then this is definitely not the doctor for you. Minor injuries or acute pain, sure. But lifestyle changing pain, definitely not because you are not a person here. You are just words and numbers on a chart.”

“My experience was wonderful. The receptionist made me feel welcome. The waiting area was clean and the wait times were minimal. The nurses in the back seem happy to be there and were helpful. The doctor I saw was professional and made me laugh. He was patient with me to help me understand what his thoughts were on my condition and what possible options are available.”

“Terrible experience. I 1st saw Dr. Lin who was very informed of my condition but only gave me pamphlet with exercises, offered me drugs but no lasting solutions. Said I could do injections which would take 2-weeks to schedule. Called to schedule and the 1st appointment was 2 - Months away. If you are in serious pain, this IS NOT the place to go. I will never use a Sentara run practice again as it was a complete waist of time and they only care about milking your insurance.”
