Patient Testimonials
“I was a patient for a couple of years and never had a problem. Then after a procedure, at the hospital before leaving, I spoke to his nurse there to see if since this would cause more pain than normal and it was almost time for me to refill my meds if he could write for a couple extra pills. The nurse said yes to just call the office. The office staff was extremely rude and refused to give him the message. So I reported it to the joke of an office manager. That procedure was treatment for one of multiple injuries. My other injuries I'm seeing a neurosurgeon and will be having surgery in the near future, so I wrote a letter saying that at that point in time, I was no longer in need of treatment. I even got a letter that says to go back if needed. Well, my neurosurgeon said I should go back here to pain management until surgery. I called today to try and make an appointment only to have the office manager tell me that I had an issue with some staff, so it was in my best interest to go elsewhere. When I asked if that was her "polite " way of saying I'm not welcome, she hung up on me. Stear far, far away from here, if you are in need of help due to pain. They will treat you like trash and not care or help you. If you do become a patient, don't disagree with the staff. If so, you will end up in my shoes. Treated like trash and unsure of what to do”

“My first visit was with Dr. Robertson in November of 2023 and things went well. I have Ankylosing Spondylitis and was having severe lower back pain. We scheduled an injection and everything was great. Each visit thereafter has been with his medical assistant. My most recent visit was on 10/16/2024, again I saw his MA. It was determined we would schedule another injection. I was told clearance from my primary care was needed as I would need to be off one of my medications. Two weeks passed, there wasn't any follow up so I called the office. I was told they had a change in personnel and the way scheduling was being done. I was told to f/u in a week. Upon me following up I was told my doctor had not returned the necessary form and it had been sent twice. I found that odd because my doctor and her staff are very quick to respond to requests. Typically a response is received within 2-3 business days. When speaking with my primary care on or around 11/13 she confirmed the document had been completed and returned to your office and provided me with a copy. As of today's date, 12/06/2024, Lisa from your office still has not followed up with me. Therefore, a call has been placed to pay the small balance, under $8, and to obtain information on obtaining my records to move to a different doctor stating I was not happy with your office. I was not asked what my issue was, the person simply cold transferred me to someone whose voice mail picked up. I called back and received the rudest person ever. I was explaining to her that I'm unhappy with your office because it's been almost 2 months since my visit and still no follow up from anyone regarding the scheduling of my injection. The person stated perhaps they were waiting on clearance from my doctor. I informed the document had been sent since last month and that I have a copy. She asked if I brought a copy to them to which I stated I did not as it isn't my job to do so. This person stated, "look I'm not going to argue with you. I'll take your payment". Before she could say anything more, I advised no, you will not take my payment because I'm not going to pay it! What I thought was my solution to Ochsner turned out to be a nightmare!”

“As a 23 year old with a debilitating chronic illness, Dr. Segura was my FOURTH pain management doctor as I had been turned away by 3 previous ones who refused to give me anything for my pain, even after seeing that I am hospitalized constantly for this issue. I rely on pain mediations to be able to function daily. Dr. Segura listened to me and took me very seriously. He is such a kind man and I am so lucky to have found him. He speaks to you like you're an old friend. I highly recommend seeing him for pain management.”

“Amazing team and Dr. Segura is amazing. A doctor who CARES about his patients and not just making money off of my pain. I thank God for Dr. Segura”
