I had no problems with Dr. Kirby /Savannah pain management until my autistic daughter found my 2 prescriptions in my drawer and tore them up and ultimately threw them away. I had no idea it had happened until I went to get scripts for refill. The best their office could tell me was "too bad, you are SOL. It's our company policy. I tried to contact their office manager and not one response. They offered no alternative to my pain. I have been off my meds of nearly 17 years, cold turkey for 7 weeks. I would never recommend this doctor or anyone affiliated with them again! They are uncaring and do things like not offer alternatives in extreme cases. Not one time in 17 years was a prescription lost or destroyed. They have ability to reissue medication but just chose to close the door! Uncaring and unethical and one group I would NOT refer as like in my case, an unfortunate situation, you might just have the door slammed in your face one day, too!

Dr. Kirby and his staff are by far the best pain management doctors I have ever seen, and that is saying alot I have had 11 major back surgeries and 18 all together when u count neurostimulators and things like that. I have had doctors in southern California, Texas, and Georgia and while I did really like a couple of doctors in California but looking at the over all experience including the staff, no one lives up to Savannah Pain Management in my opinion. Dr.Kirby is the best I have ever had give me an epidural, and again I'm not easy I'm fused from L3-S1 and both Si joints and that is a lot of metal to avoid, and he was still gentle and encouraging, i was anxious for my 1st epidural with Dr. Kirby but that was only because I had some horrible experiences in California getting an epidural. I honestly wish we didn't move but the Army does what the army wants, I am in Va now wishing I was back in GA at savanah pain management. The wait time was never very long to get into a room and be seen and you will not find a more understanding group of Dr, PAs , and staff. The only thing that takes time is waiting for a Dr signature on a prescription but that is only if you want a paper prescription. I honestly have nothing bad to say about this drs office.

The physician's assistant told me I threw my back out because I was vacuuming wrong. She then proceeded to pantomime the correct way to vacuum. In the last couple of months the receptionist chose to display a political pin in her window, directly facing the waiting room. Politics do not belong in a doctor's office and it's concerning that you don't understand the message you are sending to your patients by putting that pin in the window. There is a lack of good judgment and critical thinking going on in this office.
