“Sarasota Pain Relief was better when Dr. James still owned it. After it was sold I had an appointment two weeks later & the first thing they did was stop some of my prescriptions & lower my doses. Fast forward to a few years later & I've been prescribed less & less of my meds. It's no longer a reasonable pain management anymore. I have other health issues related to my accident & instead of trying to figure out what is causing my issues they just want to do epidurals, facet shots. When I told them where I was going to go to have the procedures done they strong armed me to let them do it. The final straw that broke the camel's back was a urine test that had medicine in it that their office prescribed to me & they released me as a patient. All while my actual paper files are in their Sarasota location & I was being seen in the Venice office. I brought records from my pharmacy showing that I was prescribed that medication from them. All they had to do was call the Sarasota location & ask them to look in my file & they didn't even bother looking at the paperwork I brought in. I'm a disabled veteran & have been with them since 2010 & this is how I got treated. Dr. Cassell is a joke & doesn't even bother to listen to patients or give them suggestions or avenues to approach to try to relieve the pain symptoms. Also they lie, they stopped 1of my medications & proceeded to tell me "we're no longer allowed to prescribe that medication" but when I'd check out from time to time I'd hear the nurses & Dr Cassell giving that same medication to other patients. STAY AWAY FROM SARASOTA PAIN RELIEF & DR. CASSELL AT ALL COSTS.”

From the front desk, no eye contact and rude to all, to the aides who complain all the time about their job (amy) to the new Nurse who seems to replace Dr C. The Dr is the ONLY 1 in that office who acts like he cares. Let me know if anyone cares. I will direct you to the video.”
