“I don't usually go out of my way to give negative reviews about a medical doctor. As I trust them because they didn't become a doctor overnight. They are highly educated professionals. I don't doubt this with doctor Aziz, he's very educated. However, not the best bedside manner and doesn't take time to listen to what you're saying. I have also noticed the symptoms I have voiced to him were not documented in MyChart or some information was falsely documented. I am not accusing him of purposely falsifying documents but perhaps he wasn't fully listening to what I was telling him because he was in a hurry. I have seen him several times as I didn't want to pass judgment. I thought, "Maybe he was very busy, overbooked and had to rush to his next appointment." So I gave him a few passes. I still don't like to pass judgment, it's just not my style. However, I feel a a provider who specializes in pain management should have some compassion. I had 3 injections with Dr. Aziz. All 3 were extremely painful as if I had a just been struck by lightning causing a jolt go down my leg. I screamed out loud and no one seemed concerned. I thought this was normal or I would not have gone back a 3rd time. Today I had an injection at another clinic (not Mayo) and it was a completely different vibe. They played music, massaged my shoulders, used an x-ray with contrast to properly place the needle. They even explained things to me in a way that made me feel comfortable. I about jumped off the table afterwards and hugged the doctor because it hardly hurt at all. I thanked him for NOT hitting my nerve. I always want health care workers to feel appreciated when they do a good job. My intents with this review is maybe Dr. Aziz will see it and maybe realize why he became a Dr. In the first place (hopefully to help people).”
