Not very chatty but I was just there for a steroid shot in my back so not much to really chat about. Reviewed my history and to work he went! I would definitely go back and see him again if needed in the future!”

“Very rude and not personable at all! Dismissive of pain and he only will see you during procedures and not as an office visit to discuss issues. Very rough with injections and walks right out after. I was told I had a low pain tolerance and was also not a surgical canidate for another surgery. Thank goodness for my amazing neurosurgeon who is educated and compassionate who reviewed my images again and I am now about to have my next surgery! Dr. Ain is the most horrible "Dr" I have ever encountered in my entire 40 years of my life! Rude, unhelpful and very unprofessional! The only good thing I can say is the other staff at Kansas Spine were all very nice, helpful and Amazing! I just recommend avoiding Dr. Ain at all costs! Note: There are even some of his staff that acknowledge his rude demeanor!”

“I was a little worried when reading some of the reviews. However, I am one who tries to put logic to a situation. Not knowing everyone's situation, I was not going to base my decision on how Dr.Ain might be able to help me. I was going in for the steroid injection into my spine. The last three months, I have been in severe pain. A pain would shoot down my leg and almost knock my feet out from underneath me. I would have to give myself a pep talk to keep walking. Dr. Ain asked me where my pain was? I told him exactly what was going on, where it hit. He said, I know exactly where to go. I was there about an hour. Everyone at the Spine hospital was extremely nice and informative. Dr. Ain wasn't chatty, but I was not there to become his bestie or go out to dinner with him. I was there for him to help me with severe pain. I feel he did a phenomenal job, and did HIS job! Again, he is there to do a job. He did that and did it well and for that I am so very grateful. Looking forward to another shot because if this will fix me and I don't have to have surgery, that will definitely be a win! After the first shot, the paper said it would take full affect in 7 to 14 days. It has been one week and my pain is 90%less. That is a very good ratio.”
