“DO NOT GO TO "DR." HERO unless you want to waste your time and continue to be in pain. My experience was absolutely awful with Hero. His front office staff is great, friendly and attentive. PA Margaret Baker is like Mr. Roger's in female form and I'm grateful I ended up with her. However, if I could give negative stars to Dr. Hero I would. At the time of visit with Hero I had episodes of throwing my back out every 4-6 months with each episode becoming worse and harder to recover from. Detailing this to Dr. Hero he just typed away on his laptop, made me do one or two movements and told me to come back when I couldn't move. How would that help if I can't walk or drive, doc?! He told me about a great physical therapist in my neighborhood but refused to give me the information until I "came back when I couldn't walk." Guess what happened after? I threw my back out and my insurance wouldn't approve an MRI without PT - so Dr. Hero's insistence on wasting my time caused my recovery to be prolonged. I refuse to ever go to him again and it's a shame he can scam more people. Thankfully, Baker was helpful, and after some time I finally got an MRI. I had a 11MM herniated disc in my L5-S1 which could've been helped or pain managed months prior with my initial visit to Dr. Hero. Do yourself a favor (especially if you're a smaller female) take your money and wipe your tears with it next time your in pain rather than going to go to Dr. Hero. I had to wait almost a year to write this review and I still feel this strongly. Absolute garbage excuse of a doctor. Can't believe his front office and other PAs work in the same office because they were absolutely great.”
