What Patients Say
Patient Testimonials
“He and his office are the worst when it comes to treating patients with care & respect. Forget about good or even fair bedside manner. I've been with this clinic for 2 years & today is the first time I ever met the doctor. Recently, I had to go to the Richardson office for trigger point injections & extra pain meds because I was experiencing severe lower back pain. The doctor at that location, told me that I was never going to get better, without looking at the most recent MRI & x-rays. She felt it was okay to tell me that. My appointment today was at 10:50 am, I didn'tget out of there until 12:42 pm. I went through the preliminaries & they told me to wait for the doctor. I asked if he was there, because in 2 years I'd never met or seen him. The MA said yes. After about an hour he came in. He was texting on his phone. He didn't acknowledge or even look at me for about 10 mins. It soon became unbearable & I mentioned to the MA that I hadn't eaten & my blood sugar was getting low because I started feeling sick. He told me it would be just a few minutes. Meanwhile, Dr. Ali is typing away. He finally gives me his attention & I began to tell him of my most recent bout with pain & began to complain about what the other doctor said to me. He cut me off and started yelling at me defending the other doctor and said if I don't like the way I'm treated, I can go to another doctor. I was shocked. However, as angry as that made me, I didn't argue with him. I told him that's not what I was there to do because my blood pressure was already high, which he didn't bother to look at, & I just wanted my pain medication refilled. He gruffly asked me if I wanted one medication over the other, & if he'd been listening to me, he wouldn't have had to ask. But, I told him anyway. He then left the room. He didn't say he hoped I'd feel better or even a goodbye. If you're considering this pain management doctor & you want to be treated with care & respect, do not go to this doctor. The staff are very nice, but they look so tired & haggard with so many patients, I feel sorry for them. The girl who scheduled my next appointment was short & snippy with me, but she has been the only one since they fired the receptionist who had a very nasty attitude with the patients. But, the way patients are treated in a doctor's office comes from the top down. Obviously this doctor couldn't care less how his patients are treated by anyone in his office, including himself, staff & other doctors. This was the Fort Worth office, which is so nasty & filthy, you don't want to touch anything or get any kind of sterile injections. I won't even mention the bathroom. I have been searching for a new doctor but, the pain meds I take are rare. Only a few in the DFW area that prescribe it. Then there's the matter of whether my insurance is accepted. So, it's been difficult. But, if you're okay with what I've described, go ahead. Beware, if you ever meet him, he's nasty inside & out, and his office is nasty. He's gruff, mean, uncaring , disrespectful. That may be the reason why only PA's see the patients for re-fills. He should have stayed in his burrow today. I didn't need that at all. I'm still shaking.”
