What Patients Say
Patient Testimonials
“All of the staff are very caring and concerned. Dr. Brown, I would trust him doing any of my procedures. He's wonderful. He seems to care for what is in the best interest of a patient. I would recommend him to anyone that needed to have any type of procedure that he covers.”
— Bobbie kesterson

“This was my second injection with Dr Whaley. She and her staff do an excellent job taking care of you. I have been a pain patient with her and PTCOA since 2021 and it is worth the 2 hour drive to me to be seen by them”

“I would like to preface this by saying that I really like PTCOA for the most part. I was seeing Dr. Whaley, she left abruptly which left her patients having to see Dr. Brown. I had two rounds of injections. The first injections, Dr. Whaley did. I was given, sedatives and pain meds to make me comfortable. I felt minimal pain during the procedure. I have sleep apnea and my BMI is 52 which places me at a higher risk for complications per the anesthesiologist. So When I went to have my second injection done, the only thing I was giving was numbing medication and gas. The gas kind of made my chest hurt a little bit and the pain of the injections was excruciating. I wanted him to stop after he did only the right side, but we went ahead and did both sides. I do want to say that the injection has provided some relief to my lower back, but I am still in a lot of discomfort. They have me on a very low dose of a painkiller twice a day, but it doesn't help at all. I've tried to express this to multiple people And I just don't feel that I'm being heard. I understand the anesthesia but after that, I had a colonoscopy at a different facility and I did anesthesia. Propofol to be exact. I am looking forward to getting the nerve burns to help with this discomfort that I am experiencing, but if they can't find a way to sedate me, I just won't have the procedure. It was way too painful and uncomfortable. This is my honest opinion of the place. The staff at the front desk is phenomenal. The nurses that I have ran into are great even the doctors are great. I just don't like that. I'm not being heard for the most part.”
