“My primary referred me here after I was T-boned by a truck and suddenly had chronic neuropathic pain. Dr. Caldwell lectured me for 2 hours about how the pain was all in my head. He also continually talked about how they would not be giving me narcotics. I'm a hospice nurse. I never asked for narcotics nor was that my reason to go to the pain clinic. I've never been treated so disrespectfully. I left and made a call to Mayo Clinic Pain Institute. I was gratefully accepted as a patient where I have received amazing treatment and now after a RFA I am completely out of pain after suffering for 5 years. DO NOT GO TO THIS PAIN CLINIC!!! Mayo Clinic, a world class place that treats you with respect and dignity, is only a few states away!”

“On my first AND last appointment with them, the doctor's assistant before I even got a word out was, "FIRST THINGS FIRST. WE DO NOT PROVIDE PAIN MEDICINE HERE!" they totally prejudged me. I was there to get a nerve block. I didn't even ask for drugs. I felt mistreated and wronged. Like I'm a lower class than them.then since my extremely intense chronic pain can't be helped any other way I saw an orthopedic surgeon who said that they do too prescribe meds. That's what they are supposed to do. Treat chronic pain. I don't have a history of drug use or abuse. I would NOT recommend this place. Just plain rude.”
