Patient Testimonials
“Dr Jones was Very Unprofessional And he was Forcing me to stop using Anti Anxiety medicine which I Need. It's not my fault I have depression and anxiety problems Just like it's Not my fault I was in a wreck Years ago that Fused my spine together in Two places and that I am in Constant Pain. I wasn't driving. He doesn't want to give me Anything but one of the lowest pain medicine and he Wants me to take No anxiety depression medicine. He is The Worst! I have been to several pain Drs and All of them were better than him I would Never refer Anyone to him. SPOS”

“**Horrible Experience at Premier Pain & Spine** I was a patient at Premier Pain & Spine for over two years and initially had a positive experience. However, things drastically changed. Dr. Stephen Jones, who was once attentive, became difficult to communicate with, especially when I encountered issues with billing and insurance. The staff, particularly at the front desk, displayed a shocking lack of knowledge about insurance processes, which resulted in significant confusion and an outstanding balance I was never informed about. During a recent visit, I was told I couldn't be seen without my insurance cards, despite having two insurances on file. This miscommunication turned my appointment into a frustrating ordeal, and I felt treated poorly by staff who were unhelpful and dismissive. The situation escalated to the point where Dr. Jones discharged me without a valid reason, despite my compliance as a patient. I also witnessed disturbing practices regarding patient management and records, including incorrect billing statements and unprofessional conduct by the staff. I felt discriminated against and treated with a lack of respect. This experience has left me feeling drained and in search of new medical care. I urge anyone considering this practice to be cautious and look elsewhere if they don't want to be treated horribly. I was threatened by the Doctor & staff for no reasons. I've never been treated so badly in my entire life by medical "unprofessionals" at Premier Pain & Spine. I was also denied of my medical records but the office sent records with my social security number on them via email. So unacceptable! The doctor left me without medicine for days & days. This place gets no stars from me.”

“If I could give this Dr a negative review, I would. This couldn't be a more unprofessional Dr, his staff is the worst. He actually needs to have his medical license reviewed. He has already been reported for negligence to the board. Literally go anywhere else. He is awful.”

“Would like to know if it is possible to have refills on pain medication to extend past exact 28 day supply due to obvious lifestyle differences. There have been times when my medicine was not refilled until the day after I run out making it so my wife has to drive to Cherokee Co. to pick up the medicine on the exact day it was allowed to be refilled, then turn right around and drive to Fort Payne where I work so there is not a break in my medications. For those of us on pain management, but still trying live and provide for our family, this can be quite inconvenient. The two hour round trip every month is also a concern, seeing that this time eats into my personal off time with my employer. Surely regulations exist that would not be violated to accommodate for these varying lifestyles? UPDATE: Was dismissed by Premier Pain and Spine after a telephone complaint regarding them completly changing my standard regimen of pain medication for over 20 years with my Neurologist, PC and since they took me on as a patient. They changed my medicines without consultation and without discussion and attempt to taper and simply called in the medication they "wanted", and not what I had been taking since choosing them as my Pain Management doctors. When I called to see what was going on, they returned my call and said that Dr. Jones had made the choice to do (without consultation, approval, or tappering attempts) and that is how it would be. Naturally, I did not agree with this and knew that I was in for some terrible withdrawals. Within a couple of days I received a letter of dismissal in the mail. Dr. Jone's bedside manner and lack of communication with his patients, as well as his similar dealings as my own with other patients, will surely contribute to his business failing. If not, I will be greatly surprised!!!”
