“I waited two hours to see someone and finally left in disgust. This was my first time here and I asked for all my papers to be sent to me so I would have them filled out to be ready. I handed them in on the first floor and then went up to the other floor where pain management was. I was taken back immediately to a little room, where the nurse Took my blood pressure. She said it was high and she would be back in five minutes to take it again. I told her I had been up all night with Phantom pain. She came back, took it again and said it was still high. I then sat in this little room with the door closed for 90 minutes. I then Open the door because I was hoping to see one of the nurses running around out there and I could ask her what was going on and why this was taking so long. Somebody finally came in in 10 minutes and said that I had missed my opportunity to see the doctor because I had my door open. I'm like what? She said the doctor went into the wrong room because my door was open. I said I have to go because I've had someone sitting in the car for two hours because I never dreamt. This would take so long. Anyway, they took a half day off of work to take me here. My appointment was at 10, but they asked that you come in at 9:30 so I did. I actually got there at 9:15. Anyway, my ride took a half day off of work to take me and I was not gonna ask him to takeoff a full day for this bullshit. I've then told them that I had to leave and they told me to make sure that I called my insurance company so I didn't have to pay a $50 cancellation fee . . I said are you kidding me? There's no way I am going to pay a cancellation fee because I didn't cancel. If the doctor was running behind, someone should have come in and told me. Could have changed everything but just sit in a little room for almost 2 hours is ridiculous. Was a total waste of my time and they asked if I wanted to reschedule and I said no thank you. I am not interested in going somewhere where I am treated like this would never recommend this to anyone. We are people and deserve to be treated better.”
