Patient Testimonials

Ben and Leo are great to work with. Pivotal Point takes chiropractic care to a new level and has addressed my neck, shoulders, back, and hips with much success. If you have a problem area and regular chiropractic is not cutting it, go here! I have had 2 herniated discs, a handful of pinched nerves, and a frayed hamstring tendon. I am a laborer and guitarist and very active with my hands. Dr Ben has been successful in relieving tension from my neck and shoulders and allowing me to focus on my job and hobby. The office and facilities are always clean and welcoming and located in a quiet, low-traffic area.

I'm a veteran who now runs a physically demanding outdoor service business, and life at home is busy with family, work, and everyday responsibilities. For years, my body has paid the price from serving in the 75th Ranger Regiment--jumping out of airplanes, carrying heavy weight for long hours, and just pushing through pain because that's what you do. By the time I came to Pivotal Point Chronic Pain Solutions, things were bad. I had disc irritation, muscle adhesions, and carpal tunnel that made even simple tasks miserable. I couldn't sit for more than 10-15 minutes without burning pain in my back. Standing or walking for more than a few minutes felt like someone was tightening a vice around my spine and shoulders. My hands would go numb or tingle when I drove, used tools, or even tried to relax on the couch. I'd wake up at night with throbbing pain and stiffness, and most mornings I felt like I was 30 years older than I am. I stopped doing a lot of the things I enjoyed--playing outside with my family, working full days without needing to constantly stretch or sit down, even simple chores around the house felt like a challenge. Honestly, I was skeptical before coming in. I've been to other clinics and tried different treatments that gave me either temporary relief or no real change at all. I wondered if this would be just another place that cracked my back, gave me a quick treatment, and sent me on my way without any real long-term results. From the first visit at Pivotal Point, the experience felt different. They actually took the time to listen to my full story--my military background, my work, and how the pain was affecting my day-to-day life. They explained what was going on with my discs, muscles, and nerves in a way that made sense, and laid out a clear plan instead of a one-size-fits-all approach. The treatments were targeted and specific, and I could tell they were really focused on getting to the root of the problem, not just chasing symptoms. The clinic environment is professional but relaxed, and I always felt respected and cared for, not rushed. Now that my pain is so much better, life honestly feels completely different. I can sit through a meal, a meeting, or time with my family without constantly shifting around or looking for a place to lie down. I can walk, stand, and work longer without that sharp, nagging pain flaring up. My hands don't go numb like they used to, and I can grip tools, drive, and do my job without constantly thinking about my wrists and forearms. I'm sleeping better, I wake up without that same heavy stiffness, and I have more energy and patience throughout the day because I'm not fighting pain 24/7. Having this level of relief after dealing with chronic pain for over a year feels incredible. It's like I finally got my body--and my life--back. I'm extremely grateful for what Pivotal Point Chronic Pain Solutions has done for me, and I'd recommend them to anyone dealing with chronic pain, especially fellow veterans whose bodies have been through a lot.

Dr. Ben Lickteig has really helped me out a lot. I've had pain in my right scapula for years, and in the past year it got much worse. Before I found out about him I went to many different specialists including a few chiropractors, multiple massage therapists, a medical doctor, a physical therapist, and my college athletic trainer, but none of them could figure out what they real issue was. I spent countless hours stretching and doing what others suggested I do but it didn't do anything because the root cause of the issue was much deeper. It turns out I had scar tissue buildup on the fascia causing nerve adhesion. Restricting the movement of my nerves, which was the actual cause of my pain. Not simply muscle tightness or a knot. So now I finally have pain relief and I will be able to continue pitching in baseball! Dr. Lickteig really cares about his patients and wants to help them with an issue nobody really is too aware of. I'm pretty sure he's one of about 30 doctors in the whole country who treat nerve adhesions.
