Probably so, I don't know for sure but I do know he will prescribe what will help you the most. Dr Winikur is a wonderful pain management Dr and will do anything he can to help you but he is a law abiding and a no nonsense doctor. I've been a patient of his for 20 years, and on my first appointment he stopped my pain that on a scale of 1-10 was a 50 with an epidural. I highly recommend him.
