Patient Testimonials

I have never had such a terrible patient experience in my life. I came in for a procedure on my ear from the front desk team to the clinical staff who checks you in and evaluates you is absolutely horrible. The anesthesiologist Dr. Pope or Poe it was, whatever his name is was terrible. He came in and I told him how I was scared of needles and if he could lay me back before proceding, he ignored me, looked at the other nurse that checked me in who was named Tom and ROLLED HIS EYES at me & didnt lay me back. The nurse Tom laughed and smirked at him about me being nervous. Then, Dr. Pope walked out and said nothing. I started crying and nobody checked in on me. Absolutely DISGUSTING. If you cant be compassionate about people in the medical field you should not work in that field. PERIOD. Walked by me several times and just gave me dirty looks. Then, I complained to the other nurse who was going to take me back and all they said was "we will look into it" yeah sure okay. Then, after my procedure, i remember waking up and feeling very dizzy, the girl nurse next to me just stared at me & I said i dont feel good, i feel very dizzy. She didnt help me whatsoever & said "yeah, well thats from the anesthesia." No human compassion from anybody. & all that will happen is some robot commenting on this and just saying the same response they said to every negative review on here, nobody cares. They will get away with this behavior and its disgusting. Will never come back here and no one else should. Trust me.

I see a lot of negative reviews about this hospital but I had surgery ant this facility yesterday and I had an excellent experience. From the intake to the pre-op and recovery nurses, to my surgeon Dr. Hwa and her OR staff, everyone treated me with the highest respect and utmost care and compassion. I would highly recommend Dr. Hwa and the team at Penn Medicine Tuttleman Center to anyone looking for quality care.

If you're looking for a place where your needs are not genuinely cared for and multiple individuals handle your case without proper communication, then THIS is the place. I met with Dr. Ashburn, who barely spent 5 minutes discussing a procedure with me, failing to mention he wouldn't be performing it himself. To make matters worse, I met the performing MD on the day of the procedure, which was a new experience for me and a terrible introduction to a new physician. After the initial visit, I was instructed to schedule a follow-up appointment for the injection three weeks later. However, when I called, the earliest available slot was six weeks away. Two weeks into the wait, I began experiencing intense pain and sought an earlier appointment. Unfortunately, my concerns were dismissed by someone other than a nurse, who suggested seeing a different provider (PA) for a quicker appointment. Reluctant to switch providers when the ordering and performing MD barely knew me, I felt ignored as my complaints of pain were brushed aside in favor of rescheduling to whoever was available. In a further attempt to address my symptoms, I messaged again, requesting the MD to be informed. However, I received a dismissive response from the PA, solely focusing on scheduling without addressing my swelling or pain management concerns. Ending it with a real loving "I hope you feel better soon." When I called the office again, the receptionist assumed my call was about scheduling. I clarified that my main concern was the lack of communication with the MD, as messages were being handled by someone named Carol, who didn't seem to be part of the clinical team and wasn't relaying my concerns to the MD. I'm sharing this experience to warn others about a facility that neglects patient complaints and complications arising from procedures they've performed.

It would have been one star if it wasn't for the Resident, Aaron, he was so knowledgeable and kind! I appreciated his care. When the attending physician came in everything just felt different. Her demeanor, the whole vibe/scene just changed!! She definitely could've stayed where she was at and tried it another day. im gonna rock with em for now see how it goes
