“I have moved to the ,GA area from Texas And I have a spinal cord stimulator in my back once I moved here I found out that the leads were destroyed, and that I was gonna have to have surgery to replace the device! The surgery went great, and while Dr.Mitchell did not perform that operation he was the ONLY doctor that took me as a patient to help me with my chronic pain up until surgery, medication to recover from surgery, And still treats me for a untreatable rotator cuff botched surgery that happened years ago. As I see some of the reviews on here, I don't understand how anybody can say anything bad about this doctor or his staff. I've been in pain management for over 10 years and I have never met a doctor That actually takes the time to understand you as an individual and not just a patient. His staff is some of the sweetest women I have ever met.They are very helpful when it comes to rescheduling appointments or anything. I have United healthcare for my insurance And for some reason, they say that he is out of, But Dr. Paul Mitchell has personally helped me out when it comes to the financial part of things. not one doctor in the whole Savannah and surrounding areas would take me in But this doctor right here Is truly one of a kind. He is one of the nicest individuals I have met, he takes his time getting to know you, And when it comes to prescriptions or refills or changes in medication he is on top of it. If you are in pain and you can't find any doctor that will sit down and listen to you, to help get you out of pain this is the man you need to go see. I'm currently still a patient of his,so any other reviews that you see that are not good. I can personally tell you those people were mistaken. Dr. Paul Mitchell is the greatest doctor I have ever had the pleasure of being a patient of. I truly thank God for allowing us to cross paths. Smartest, Nicest, Knowledgeable doctor I have ever met! I am very proud to call Dr. Paul Mitchell my doctor!”

“I have no complaints about his staff, only him. I was the patient referred by a family member. This family member had addiction problems & Dr. Mitchell knew that & actually quit treating her because of that. After catching this person stealing my medication, I learned that Dr. Mitchell was once again seeing her & prescribing pain meds to an addict. I called to inform them of the problem and they told ME not to come back. "Too much drama" was the exact words. I was told by several doctors that I did the right thing but to dismiss my need for pain management spoke volumes. Patient care is not priority to Dr. Mitchell. Compassion doesn't exist. For him to allow care for a drug dependent person that he had dismissed once before because of failing the pill count test. Enough said, we are just a number and he doesn't have time for those who actually need care. And if you know of someone who is an addict to pain meds in his practice, don't call him!”
